it is 106 degrees outside (which if thats the problem, they are going to die this august when it gets 115), are they just burning up or is it some sickness; The girls are JGR plants (blue dream x LA confidential) they are on week 10/11 ish, and one is more taller and lanky while the other is shorter and stout.

They can be saved.

had a similar situation with my bird of paradise plant a few years ago. It’s an indoor plant October-April. Outdoor May-September. Left it outside in a heat wave for a few days.

I brought it inside for a few day. Foliar sprayed it with water more than once a day. Cleaned the leaves. Then slowly reintroduced it to the outdoors again. I haven’t given the plant direct sunlight ever since. Built an arbor to cover it in the summer months.

No it's too hot, yes you can make it work. Plenty of shade cloth and a workable system sees veg grown in plus forty temperatures in some parts of Europe.

thank you my brother, i have hope for my plant - ive been giving it a lot less direct sunlight (the tall one gets 3-4 while the smaller gets 4-5). The shorter plant is recovering quite nicely while the taller one is still hanging n there! I took off a clone from each the plants just incase the worse happens, so ive been giving the cones a couple hours of light too!

yea, looks hot to me too. Maybe a little heavy on N as well. Little shade and a lot of water(but not too much) and you be fine.
