(Pics) First Grow, How these buds looking? am I close to harvest?

Hey everyone, first post about my first grow experience.

I've got one plant that's well into the flowering stage and am really excited to harvest, but have the patience to wait for those buds to fatten to their fullest and have the plant develop it's maximum potency.

:leaf:I'm not sure of the strain, it was just a bag seed I acquired from some decent bud. If it looks familiar it anyone, lemme know what you think it could be.:leaf:

I've been flushing for a week and have noticed a good amount of size being added to the buds.

Have been looking at the trichomes but haven't noticed any getting milky or amber yet. (does this happen gradually or within just a few days usually?)

These pictures are from yesterday, about day 70.




Not to bad for my first grow, ey?

looks fantastic perhaps a flush is in order followed by a chop in a week or two

edit : just noticed youve started flushing

Great news, sounds like I'm pretty much on track with when I was expecting to chop, right before Thanksgiving!

Anyone have experience with the 48 hour dark period right before harvest to get max potency/least starch in the buds? I've researched it a bunch and doing it wouldn't have any negative effects, (Right?) so I think I'll give it a try.

lookin ace bro yeh defo agree i would defo give it 1-2 weeks you can see the pistols going orange/brown soon as they all are chop chop time :) but well done bruv i got 9 blueberry on go just turned them tonight :) woop!

yeh bro i went with blueberry cous i know its not the easiest so bit of a test for me lol done alot outdoors and blue's is my fav weed of all time so thought may aswell grow it :) but yeh bro put pics of your harvest man would be nice see how much you get peace bro and good job buds look lush!

Thanks yo! this shit was done a while ago, like thanksgiving. But we got 33g off it. resisted temptation and canned it for a few weeks and it turned out having the nicest smell and aroma. . for a first grow i couldnt have asked for anything better! Hope i can repeat my results with my current grow.
