So I am looking into more seeds to ourchase and thought about it but I stopped before I started to ask a question. I no on attitude(live on east coast) they say this strain is good for this that etc. I want a good flavorful strain I am growing indoors, organically I want some yeildage but good for my temperature grow conditions etc. Is there a good place to look for this type of info or just look strains up until I find something that meets my criteria thanks in advance

Hi Anzohaze,
Indoors, a pure sativa is a poor choice and yield is low. So pick a good hybrid or indica that suits your smoking preference. If you are a new grower, find a strain that is easy to grow and clone. I'm not current on all the new strains but I found white widow easy to grow and certainly fun to smoke.
Good luck,
JD

You can't really go wrong with a good 50/50 hybrid. I think it just really depends on what you like. If you have limited experience sometimes it's just hard to know what you like, so you gotta just throw your hook out there and hope.

I would look for something tried and tested. Predictable. As a starting grower, You really don't wanna have to pheno hunt IMO. Getting some clones is a great way to get started since, if you get all the same strain - it's all the same pheno. Someone else hopefully more experienced with a larger operation and more time did the pheno hunting.

Once your able to get through grows successfully, without any issues, and maybe have an extra mom room, then start ordering seeds, and finding your gem.

Until then, I think you should just focus on growing clones, and getting good at growing. Then focus on seeds. It'll be worth your time.

Also, learn to clone. Get good at it. Be able to clone anything. Then start playing with seeds.

Solid advice^

However, I would recommend a more Indica strain like Northern Lights, or Skunk #1 if you are a novice grower. Both are very durable, very tasty, and Northern Lights has the added perk of producing a not-so-strong smell (but don't let it fool you from how it tastes), for those more discreet grows.

Have you grown before? This kind of goes with what dubcoastOGs was saying, but instead of being tempted to order top-tier, genetically sound seeds, try growing with bag seeds from a strain you enjoyed. If you screw them up you are not out any money, and if you can get enough you can start trial run two with the leftovers without needing to buy more.

Solo Dolo...while this might make sense, I think it's worth considering that bag weed seeds are notoriously herm prone, and dealing with that issue would make for a crappy experience.

There are lower priced seed sellers out there. Nirvana, BC Bud Depot, Highgrade seeds and so on.

50 bucks for more reliable genetics won't break the bank. IMHO

Indeed there are, and if money is no option then by all means buy some Northern Lights from Attitude and have fun!

However, unless a novice grower is eager to spend $50 on seeds and kill most of them their first grow most anyone on RIU would suggest at least to try out your growing knowledge on bag seeds before making a purchase at a seed bank.

Even though bag seeds will almost always have inferior genetics than ones purchased at a seed bank, you can get a good feel for watering, nutes, lights, your grow room, etc, etc, etc from simply throwing some seeds a friend gave you into some soil and starting there. By time you order the seeds, get them, and are able to see those first two green leaves popping up out of the soil, those bag seeds you threw in soil will already be 2-3 weeks old and you'll have some actual experience under your belt.

Solo dolo...in anzohaze's first sentence, he says he's looking for "more seeds". So apparently it isn't his first grow. Like I said, I accept your premise as valid...I just disagree.

Fair enough, I had read it as he was looking for seeds. Assuming it was a first grow.

I have a handful of grows under my belt still a newb but whatever. I have grown for example ak47, ak48, some random bag seeds. Purple urkle(bag seeds, that a buddy gave me those are in my pics) white widow (I liked) pineapple express (I liked) , tangerine dream my worst grow ever I hated them so picky) blue widow a blue haze. Anyways my grow conditions are indoor (7wx12dx9h) i have a mini split ac ( keep temps around 78-80and 65-70 at night, co2 burner and sniffer(1500ppm) 3 1000 watts lights, wall mounted fans of course the inline fans filters etc etc. I want a good solid strain. I no diff strains come from diff areas but I want something not a pain to grow good yeild alot of taste etc. I am in my first full organic grow as we speak, I have 7 g13 pineapple express,6 dinafem llsd and 5 royal purple kush from I believe triangle seeds. All from attitude.

Have everything I need for growing my super soil is cooking now. I have a normall job 730am to 530pm mon thru friday so I am not there during those times.

Hey anzo...you shoulda told us that from the beginning! lol

I heard DC Bud Depo God Bud is a very frosty indica with good yield.

There was some discussion recently on a low odor strain...and Nirvana Northern Lights was mentioned several times.

I have some Satori seeds I'm looking forward to growing. It's from a Spanish grow consortium called Mandala seeds. Prices are fair and they have a wide range of strains. Never actually smoked any though. People seem to either love them or hate them.
Good luck,
JD

Hey man,
how are things going?
I see that you're looking for some good seeds.
I have a website that will tell you about all the strains. their genetics, taste, smell etc.
The list is in alphabetical order across the top.
Just click on a letter and every strain under that letter will come up.
Just click on the strain that you want to find out about;the list is broken down by breeder as well.
Hope this helps.
Here's the link
Let me know what you think

Hi JohnDee, Ive heard that white widow might not be the best choice for a first grow as her aroma might be difficult to control. What do you think? I am growing a white widow myself! Cheers
