Picking the right strain?

I'm looking for a good strain to grow out doors for the up coming summer. I want a strain that doesn't cause too much paranoia. It seem that some smoke relaxes me while others have my heart pounding out of my chest lol. I like the relaxing effect. Can anyone give me some insight on a strain like this.

I live in an area that has only 'dirt weed', and never sees any of the good stuff. So, I started growing some for my self. Last night, I was drinking and got a bright idea.....I went a clipped a bud from my Velvet Kush that is 7 1/2 weeks into bloom. I popped it in the microwave for a few secs, then packed it into my bowl. Well.....I can honeslty say that I haven't been that stoned since I was just starting smoking, as a teen. I was sooo freakin high that all i could do was sit here and giggle like an idiot, for hours.LOL Holy fuck!

I practically quit smoking a couple years ago, because the weed here is so shitty that it always made me really paranoid, tired, and almost sick.(I was having lung problems too) Well, now that i know what a buzz from 'real weed' feels like, I think I'm going to be smoking alot more often.

My tolerance is way too low to be able to give a valid opinion, but, I will say that the Kush is no joke. I have Crystal and Velvet Ice too, so i can't wait for those to get done. I'll post something when i get to
'sample' them.

In the near future I'll be testing a variety of bud that's flowering at the moment( Night Shade, Pineapple Express, and Power Kush), but unless I really like the buzzz I'll probably go with something that produces a bigger yield since the sky will be the limit.

This may help. Which type plant indica or sativa would cause more or less paranoia?

Paranoia from weed? That's real?

Thought that was just a hollywood nonsense, like seeing colors and wavy lines.

LOL, Then you must not be smoking the same crap that's around here.

You'd probably be happier with a sativa buzz, with it's uplifting buzz. But, I think any type of 'good' weed will do the trick.

what type of high do you like? Thats the question u need to ask yourself. If you are doing a closet grow you want to take height into consideration.

Variables include
Smell
Height
Yield
Fowering time
easy/difficult to grow strains

1st, if you want a strain that does not smell as much during your grow, get some northern lights.

Height, plant usually atleast triples in height when put into flowering. Alot of seed sites like attitude have information on height. Get some afghan, widow, ak47, cheese, kush, typically can stay short.

Yield. Do you want alot of buds? Do you have sufficient lighting to grow these buds?
Something like an autoflower will grow in 45 days and you yield 1- 1 1/2 oz.
Get like a blue cheese (blueberry x cheese) and you will get about the same of some super stanky blueberry tasting weed.
Go with like big bud or powerplant if you want maximum yield.

Remember you need enough lumens to produce these buds.

Flowering time. If you go with a sative expect a taller, lankier, plant that typically takes 10-12 weeks to flower. If you go with an indica its typically 7-9 weeds. There are alot of hybrids out there that take typically 8-10 weeks. Check the trichromes to know when its done.

Last, do you want a difficult strain to grow like a jack herrer, or something easier like an ak47. Are you experienced or not? nutes? questions you need to ask

OMG ROFL <><><> I just re-read your post and seen your growing outdoors. haha go with some maui waui bro!!

oh well, some other person might be doing an indside grow and can read it, sigh

(tokes bowl)

Well typically ur cannibas afghanica strains will grow excellently outdoors due to its ancestors survival skills. Most cannibas indica and sativa strains should be grown indoors. Do some research and find out what's best for you.

Strawberry Cough would be best for u
Strawberry Cough
[Dutch Passion Seeds]

Sativa 80 / Indica 20
Origins - N/A
Flowering - 56-63 days
Harvest - Early October

Strawberry Cough is a sweet-flavored indoor variety with just enough indica influence to shorten the typically slow growing time of the semitropical sativa into a 2 month flowering cycle. The creamy berry taste combines with its expansive smoke to deliver a variety worty of its name.

Strawberry Cough gardens efficiently whether using hydroponics or soil setups. It is too branchy for sea of green, but Dutch Passion recommends planting 15-20 plants per square meter (1-2 plants per square foot). Strawberry Cough likes a boost of nutrients at the beginning of vegetative growth. Although no data was available for outdoor gardens, Strawberry Cough performs terrifically in greenhouses. Strawberry Cough is a plant of happy mediums, growing to a height of around 3 feet indoors or in a greenhouse garden and exhibiting leaves that balance between indica and sativa influences. This multi-branched plant will start delivering ripe colas about 40 days into flowering, and continue with a second wave that finishes at about 65 days. Greenhouse flowering times are typically a week shorter than indoor gardens.

The buds are tight and shaped like narrow pinecones, and may get quite long. This variety's branches are sturdy and support even the weightiest of colas. Strawberry Cough tickles the lungs with her creamy-sweet smoke, whose flavor resembles strawberry, perhaps with a kiwi fruit complement. The buz is heady and active, a classic let's-go-hiking sativa lift that can alleviate depression.
