Picking seeds from buds

Ok so I have a friend doing her 1st grow. she started 4 seeds and did really well. I gave her some advice but she really wants to learn mostly
by herself so she didnt want any help sexing them.Well lo and behold she missed a boy and he rhaped her girls a little. Now she has the bright idea
of picking the seeds out of the buds as they develop. Now I never heard of this and was like wtf. So my question is has anyone done this(that they'll admit to)
and how did it work out? Also she was wondering if seeds would continue to develop during the flowering phase. I know nothing about seeded plants
but I think picking out the seeds will be a bad idea..
Any advice for her?

Am I reading this wrong? you said she wanted to know if seeds would continue developing in the flowering phase. Which would mean she is not in the flowering phase? well than how the hell are seeds growing! Seeds grow in the buds, in order for seeds to grow the plant has to be in flowering. Just thought I should clear that up. Now... You can not pick the seeds out of the buds, well you can but only when the seeds are ripe. Picking the seeds out before that will not change a thing.

You will cause more damage than good trying to pick out seeds now, If its personal meds then just finish the grow out, (minimum of 4 wks after pollinating). Harvest and cure as usual, it takes longer for seeded bud to dry. The seeds come out much easier when they are fully mature and the bud is dry. The remaining bud is still smokeable, there just won't be as much. Plus she'll have 100's of seeds for future grows.

just wait till they are bursting out and pluck em', they sometimes just naturally fall when they are ready so check your soil when watering so you don't accident germinate one like mother mature does naturally. keep in mind they need to dry from the moisture and mature before planting but i've seen people germing them successfully after just a few days from being picked from the plant. good luck!

It's alot easier to get seed out when they are mature and dry. I've pollinated early before and started plucking beans while the plant was still alive just so I could get a head start on their drying process. As long as the male is out they won't continue to make new seeds.

I assume the make has been gotten rid of. If not, do so immediately. You may get super seedy or just moderately seedy with some smokeable. Just let them finish and collect those seeds after harvest for next year's grow.

yeah, all of the nug in the whole room will have seeds, i finished out a room recently after a hermi opened and i really wish that i would have cut them down and started again, there was a good deal of seeds from a couple little sacs on a hermi opening, cant imagine what an actual male would do.

why would she cut down a plant that was flowering? Because of a few seeds? I don't know where you live but here bud is too precouse to waste that way.
yea it is here too.seeded bud smokes too so why waste the months she had invested.
