Pic posting question

Hi all

I'm new at this game so I have a question about posting pictures. If I were to by some chance have a project in progress right now and wanted to post pics of them... how secure is that?

I've read about some method of editing and removing a certain code that would trace to a specific camera.

Basically, how safe is it to just snap some shots with my camera and upload them directly to this site with no editing?

However, that does not address the question

i do it.but i don't have a field of green.What i was saying is that mathcing a picture from the internet to a camera is pretty unlikely.When you go on the internet THERE IS AN ID FOR YOUR COMPUTER,and through leaving a message here its already logged somewhere...SOOO cops/bad news find your IP,contact your DNS, then come to your door or kick it in persay.So yes,don't do it if your worried. Here in canada,pot laws are great for us stoners.

I agree. Marijuana prohibition is illogical.

I think if more jurors stopped sending people to jail that could be one more variable on the positive side for us.

The camera is not registered unless you filled out the warranty information and even then the chances are not great that it can be linked to you.

Your pictures get uploaded to the site and unless you are doing a warehouse grow I would not be worried about posting a few of them. The police are not looking for closet grows.

God made beer too, or at least influenced catholic monks to screw up thier porridge and made meade by accident(true story). And yes the image contains info on what camera took the pic but like they said unless you registered it for a warranty no one knows but u. But the Ip address is more concern than the camera that took the pic, agreed.
