Phototron improvments

Hey guys, this is my second posty hopefully ill get some responses this time! :P So i just got a tron that i traded for a bike i had. It came all set up and with a feed-a-tron. After doing research i am starting to feel disapointed
about my pick up. I know there are some succesful tron growers out there, so this post is for anyone who can share their experiences with their own Phototron (prefferably good).

I am more intrested in any modifications/tips to the Phototron that can be made to increase yield, decrease odor, increase grow rate, etc!

I heard of spraying black spray paint on the outside panels to conceal light within the box, but i am curious if anyone knows if it will melt off or anything like that. I also heard the Feed-a-tron increases your yield. Oh and also putting a light and an exaust fan at the top the fan will pool fresh air from the bottom pulling it through the leaves and such. Thats just what i THINK i know, i'm very new to growing so please -POST THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW HOW TO MAKE TRONS WORK- ( I Dont know how the feed-a-tron is supposed to be configured so if someone could help with that it would be great!) Thanks guys cant wait to here your creative ideas.

ALSO can i get a list of the best set up you think goes with the tron. Just a list of the substances/feed/medium

Example: spagnem moss, limestone, supplements, water

I am a phototron owner. I have had 2 successful grows in my tron and its a really nice little unit. I presently have a tent and a tron. I have a past journal.."superlemon haze in phototron" advance search that, i will try to tag it for you too..

im pretty excited to chat with you about the Phototron. There do not seem to be many of us out there these days.
My first grow in the Tron i followed the instructions to a T from the pyraponics people. I would NOT recommend this at all.
I did have a feed a tron that broke.. it worked pretty darn good...
I had 2 plants growin in the tron the first round.. WAy too crowded... The second grow i had my infamous "LEMMY" super lemon haze plant that was my most potent weed i think i ever grew.. so yes, the tron will pump out some killer buds for you!
Im going to sub up here now.. let me know if you have any questions i would be more than happy to help if i can..

I compeletely stressed this plant out.. i had NOOOO clue what i was doing, yet look at this monster!!!!!!! this dope was super super potent and i got a lot of it!!!!!
I cant wait to see your monster dude! :-P

I'm thinking about building one of those 'Phototrons'. I mean, they give 360` degrees of lighting.. to the plant. This way, you don't have a section/parts of the plant that's left in the shade. You give the complete plant.. all the way around it.. light. Best way to go IMO..

I can't afford to buy a prebuilt one.. like you have here Doc. However, I can build one.. and it might even be better than the one you bought. ;)

Either way.. love your grow man. Nice! Probably one of my fav grows on the site.. and I only have a few favs, but this one is one of them.

Just scored me a phototron today for 50 bucks off Craigs. I have always wanted on of these since I was a kid I remember them in the back of High Times so I am super excited =-)
Not my first grow. Currently I have 4x4 tent 600w lumitek using homemade variation of subcool's super soil for my regions water.
So anyways Was I thinking it would be fun to play with it the way I got it and just put soil in it and see what it will grow for 50 bucks or mod the heck out of it with lights and fans and maybe a DWC instead of soil?Any suggestions comments? Either way I think I'm going to grow some autoflower AK47 seeds that I got from my caregiver a few years back just because they grow so tight and low.
