Photontek sq300w pro in a 4x4

Hello all, I have a chance to get a photontek sq300w pro for 400$cad.
I was gifted a 4x4 tent for my birthday and was trying to stay under 600$cad for the led light.
Will this be enough for a first timer? 4 plants max.
All reviews I've been able to find are based on 3x3 size.
Did I mention this will be in an apartment, so the safety factor a must and lumateks top notch from what I've read. But I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks in advance
Keep on buddin!

It’s a bit underpowered for a 4x4 but you could add a couple bar lights down the road. I usually run 480w in a 4x4. From a safety point of view it better to get a larger light and run it at 75%.

Thank you. Ya I wish the x465 was on sale a bit cheaper. I might wait a month, save up and grab that?

3x3 canopy in a 4x4 is great. Gives you room for fans, risers and anything else you might need for the grow. I didn't have a full canopy but did have room to rotate the plants and to pull them out from under the lights for maintenance. Good luck with the grow!
