photo posting. me stupit

so I took some pictures of a few buds I just picked with my phone, and sent them to my computer... and I tried to post it in upload a picture, and it sais the picture is too larde or the wronf MIME... any help?

upload them on photobucket.com and resize them

I keep hearing about photobucket. but have no idea what it is. do I need to download it or just go on the site and do stuff?... see I ment I stupit when me sais it

just go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and create an account just like you did for this site...from there you will see a big upload button..hit the button and select what picture you want..just that easy

MANNNN!!! they wanted my cellphone number... and I gave them a fake one. and than they sent a pin number to the cellphone number that fake, and I nead to type it in... and what do I do>

you need to change the pic to JPEG image. click on the pic - go to paint then file and chose save picture as - JPEG

click on the mountain pic above were you post. insert the direct link were you want the pic.

you are using photo bucket ?

I am using photo bucket now... and I put the HTTP in the thing with the mountains and it just put up a link to get into my acount on photobucket
what am I doing wrong now

TinyPic - Share the Experience!™ no account neccessary just find the file and upload and then just copy and paste the IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards. just another option that will work.

when you click on the direct link it turns blue - right click and copy - paste that in the pic link on riu. delete the http that shows when you first click on the (mountain pic)
click o.k. then the pic should show up.

click go advanced
click on the little mountain that says insert image
enter the url of the photoshop image (look at the picture in photobucket and grab the text at the top starting http

should be ok

Thats exactly what I'm doing.
I think I'm not viewing the image right? theres a bunch of other stuff other than my picture oin the window.
It seems to be just posting a link to the URL adres I put... and that adres just lets you click into my photobucket account

I don't know about all of that stuff, I do know what works for me. As they say Go Advanced> Manage attatchments> browse. This allows you to upload from anywhere including your camera/phone if you have it hooked with a usb cable. It allows you to upload 5 pixs/posts. VV

If you haven't figured it out already, I have your solution:



Follow me in color order:

GREEN: Choose a file you will be prompted to a directory search on your computer.
YELLOW: The window of the directory should look familiarly like this (But with your computer files listed). Choose your image and proceed.
RED: Once you see the files name and it's checked off on your main photobucket account's upload box, proceed to click on the "upload" button. They also allow you to upload multiple images.
BLUE: When your file or image(s) has been successfully uploaded, you will see a thumbnail view of your image; along with other images you had uploaded. Now below your images you will see:

Email & IM [http://blah]
Direct Link [http://blah]
HTML Code [http://blah]
IMG Code [http://blah]

- Click on the special html address that you see for "IMG Code". What that is, is a custom html code and you use that custom code to paste or post that into the "reply box" on that forum you are trying to post on ; such as this.
Purple:
After that, you should have successfully posted your image onto the forum.

make sure to go to your user options in your Photo Bucket account and set your account to "private". otherwise any link you put up will let everyone see ALL your pics.
