Well fuck, I haven't done anything different to the plant since it was put in the dirt. And this stated about a few days to a week ago. That's why I assumed deficiency.
I make compost tea with WC, molasses and a few tea spoons of kelp in a 5 gal. But recently just been giving plain water.

Can we have a pic of the whole plant including top growth? Is it only effecting the bottom then moving up? What dirt is it in?(what amendments ect)

looks like the soil got too dried out.
those leaves look like phosp def. But you'd see that all over the plant. Especially at the top.
When leaves reach a certain size they stop growing. The plant sucks everything out of it and then drops the leaf.

No, I only water in the early morning or late evenings.
I thought the sane thing, I wasn't able to pinpoint it to anything exactly, just looked similar to phos. def.

Im not sure how you can tell the soil is dry when it's covered in straw? ?
I don't like to mess with my plants at all after dark, so I'll take full pictures tomorrow when the sun is out.

I know how to read a plant.
When the soil dries out, the leaves turn yellow and brown and crispy in the edges and curl upwards. It always starts with the lower leaves first.

Right on dude, it has been in the hundreds lately so that could be a possibility. I usually water ever 2-3 days but with the Temps so high I could need to daily.

those buckets are small for an outdoor high temp grow man
you need like ten times that.
go with at LEAST a 20 gal
preferably 55 to 100 if you want to get em big, it's barely june man
and at temps of 100+ you'll probably benefit from maybe a good wet cardboard top cover to your soil, rather than straw
plus on a different note, straw would probably sequester the toplayer of nitrogen too, but that's just a guess, but considering it is composting slowly and has an extremely high carbon to nitrogen ratio, i'd imagine it would.
temps in the hundreds and you should be watering everyday in the morning, has it been limp or sagging ever?

I just transplanted 2 into 20 gallons. During the transplant I noticed the roots were barely making there way to the edges of the bucket walls, so I should have more room in there.
They don't seem to mind every other day watering. I could start doing daily as I'm sure it wouldn't hurt with the temps so high.
So with the straw, could this be extreme N def.?

I wouldn't do anything at all, if it's just those lower leaves, AND your plants are still growing?
just monitor it, it may be nothing at all, I've see all sorts of odd colors and spots on lower outdoor grows, and more often than not, there isn't anything wrong.

Right on man! This is my first outdoor and 100% organic grow so it's just weird when things like this come up. It makes since though, considering older growth does die off (only natural). But I will probably water more often on these hot days...that makes sense anyways.

make sure that one gets a full days light, it appears to be possibly either preflowering, or it's full on starting to flower.
some strains will flower even under the longest days, depending where you are.
and depending on how they were vegged.
for example a vegged plant @24 hrs will often flower even at a 16/8, because of the day difference.

The guy I got these clones from a dude I'm sure did 24/0 but I kept them inside under 18/6 for about a month, then put them outside permanently on may 16 after about 3 weeks of daily hardening off.
They are getting around 11-12 hours of direct light daily and our sunrise/sunset for my location is 5:42-8:26 (today) longest day is June 21 so we should get up to around 15 hour days before days start getting shorter.
You are right though, it does have pre-flowers on her, but they have been for a couple weeks.
