phosphorous or magnesium deficiency

I'm having trouble determining if I have a phosphorous or mag deficiency or is it perhaps something else that I'm not schooled on? It's in dwc... the ph is always in a range of 5.8 to 6.2....i use cal mag to 350ppm and then equal parts gh 3 part nutrients bringing ppm up to 800.

I would say P when I see the stems...

According to the deficiency chart.... magnesium causes purple stems as well.... I'm really confused... does mag and p work hand in hand?

Seems to me still as P. I think exces of mg can kick P out, but not sure well!

Any recommendation on how to add just p? And possibly, approximately how much should I start off with

cal/mag overload. Nutrients should have plenty in them

I use ro water... so should I flush and add just the gh 3 part nutrients?

personally, I would just use plain phed water a couple times,letting it dry in between, see if she perks back up.

nice, then I would use a very low dose of just base nutes. And I mean very low

I'm leaning towards phosphorous deficiency... she seems to still be growing pretty fast but leaves are yellowing fast and some have browned

I am not familiar to GH nuts and additives so can not help you in this case. But if @Renfro hits this thread, you can get good advices of him...

either way, you need to cut the cal/mag. starting her off at a low dose and giving her time to recover is my approach. I never use more than 800 ppm my entire grow. He does a little more nutes but it's not a overly high amount. 600 vs 1000? see what I'm saying?
