Ph water

Hey guys

So i am busy with my second indoor grow as well as 5 outdoor plants, got the perfect organic coco soil mix along with dry amendments etc. Only problem im having currently is with my water.. My tap water comes out at 8.5, and thats with chlorine that needs to be bubbled out. But then i have ground water that we use for the garden, that ph is 5.5. I have tried using ph up with it, and something just isnt right. I use a blue labs soil ph pen that is calibrated and all. But when i have mixed a little bit of ph up into the water (about 1.5ml to 5 litres of water) i mix it and leave it to stand. When i come back and check it, the meter reads about 6.6 and then drops down to around 6.2 or so which is perfect.

I watered the plants and left them for a day or so, i then go and check the actual ph of the soil in the fabric bags, and they are sitting at like 7. So today i just watered them with the 5.4 ph to try and level things out.

Does anyone have some good tips on how to perfect your water? Im also a little concerned about the iron smell of the water which is common with the borehole water we use here. When i check the older leaves of the plant they are getting that typical tiger stripe look which is common with too high PH. My OCD is killing me LOL

As you can see the newer growth looks good, but the older leaves are a clear deficiency due to high ph. Notice one of the plants has that weird look to the leaves. Its been like that since a seedling. Its 1 of 2 dosi dos 33 from barneys farm. Duno if its genetics perhaps?

All been grown in the same soil thats a premix of coco coir, worm castings, and "organic plant food additives"

Pic 4 is more likely genetics related since only one leaf affected, but pic 5 definitely pH related. To your water sources, what is your ppm tap and does pH changes after 24hrs sitting? I would go rather that way with lowering its pH by citric acid instead of rising pH of your ground water, it can be full of bacterias and other unwanted stuff. But I still do not understand your mix, is it coco based or is it bio soil mix?
