Ph rising in autopot rez

Hey everyone. My autopot finally came in and I was excited about using this for my mother plant. It's a 6 week old white widow from dutch passion. The autopot is feeding her and keeping the cococoir mix saturated. The problem is in the non recirculating reservoir. Everyday the ph is shooting from 5.7 to 6.5 in less then 24 hours. I'm using cyco grow a+b cali magic from botanicare and dr.repair. reverse osmosis water.
Any ideas why the resevoir is rising? Maybe my airstone?

more than likely the air stones. its good to put them on a timer so their off for equal time that their on.

How old is the mixture/solution. Sometimes if the PH swings keep going out of whack you just need to reset the system with fresh water and nutes to stabilize it. Another reason is usually the plants just uptaking more water which can throw things out of whack. Make sure your environment is stable.

Environment is solid. Nutes are fresh the air stone is the only thing I can think of. It doesn't recirculate so I don't think me e.c is too high at 1.1

Shes happy but I've also stayed on top of the ph. Autopot advertises you dont need to adjust the ph once its set because it doesnt recirculate. Just another let down

She could be just flat out using up a ton of food and that will cause PH fluctuations, but as long as she looks happy I wouldn't worry too much.

Have you tried using tap water vs. RO? Do a small experiment and mix up some feed in a bucket using tap water and see if your pH drifts as much from day to day.

Best to use a stir pump with autopot rez. Plants don't drink fast enough for DO effectively down the line. Better off with stone in bottom of planter. Botanicare is a bit to organic for that system so if you choose to stay with it get some drip clean from house and garden. Should keep ya unplugged. Stir the tank every 3 hrs or so. Clear your half inch line every 3 days.

If a stir pump is a sub pump being used just to keep the salts dissolved then this is the conclusion I was coming to. The air stone wasn't for dissolved oxygen. Just to keep the nutes stirred. I wonder if it's the humidity in the air with different ph that had been doing this.

Rh shouldn't have an effect on the rez.. if the desired set point doesn't hold and your well water is reasonable say less than 150 rpm or so then cut your mix with half well water for the additional bicarbonate to stabilize. I reread your mix and I thought u were using botanicare pb, oops my bad. You have a solid sounding mix. I have a tomatoes farm with over 10k investested in autopots. My record indoor with autopots was only 8 oz.. switched to hybrid octopot system now getting rdwc results...

Calimagic was reported by a fellow friend to me as being a ph swinger in his setup. No documentation sorry just hearsay. Put a timer on your down line so it only feeds during lights on.

I'm happy to find someone who has used these. I only want to use them for the mother room. Seemed like a low maintenance way to go. The e.c of the water here is 0.2 or 205 ppm. Seems a little high. I would stop using cali magic if I start using well water?

Pretty sure that would work however have you had your water worked up to know its levels?
