PH Raise Causes Brief "cloud" in Nutrient Solution, What's Happening?

I've always noticed that when adding GH liquid pH Raise to my rez that when it hits the nutrient solution it creates a white cloud in the water for just a moment and the vanishes. I assume some element is falling out of the solution as a solid where the pH is very high and then hopefully dissolving again. I wonder what it is, and if it's really re-dissolving or just falling out of the solution and lost/locked out? Anyone know what this is?

Its calcium falling out/or locking out of the solution due to the acid.I saw the same white cloud when first adding nutes to the water and then the pH up to the nutes. Now i add my pH up to the water first and then the nutes and no white cloud forms and no calcium loss.Hope this helps.

Calcium eh, that makes sense. And diluting the pH raise first does also. I have to add raise regularly to keep pH up, so I'll dilute more.

I know it's already been answered (Ca falling out of solution) but it really does make life easier to dilute your ph adjusters. Mine are like 10:1 or so dilution which enables you to add in "glugs" rather than using a syringe or measuring spoons. Something to be said for just opening and dumping a bunch of adjuster in the rez.

Plus your not beating the hell out of your nutes.

P.s. A jar of pure Lyme drain cleaner makes like 20 gallons of ph up and costs $5
