Ph question.

Is this right? im so confused i dont know if its because im baked lol. I water my girls at 6.8-7 and the run off is PH at 5.0???

Well, I am SURE I am gonna get blasted with this reply...I have never been concerned about my run-off ph or checked it for that matter. I balance my water with and without nutes to 6.3-6.8 and that is as far as I go. But too each their own. I am NOT saying this is how YOU should run YOUR grow.

Thanks for the quick reply. That sounds ideal. I mean i havent PH untill 2 weeks into flower. lol but since then i have been doing the same, With or without nutes. Im using distilled water from kroger and it seems to be PH alright

Not to derail your thread, but I use synthetic nutes and haven't pH'ed at all in the past 2 years, and my grows go fine. But I use a nute brand specifically designed to not need pH adjustments.

It is generally agreed that 6.3-6.8 is optimal ph for cannabis. Will the 7.0 of distilled water hurt them? No probably not.

Thanks, And im using Fox Farm nutrients.. The Trio pack with a little bit of cal mag and sledgehammer flush here and there.

Id be more concered with runoff ec rather than Runoff ph,but even thats iffy in soil.

LOVE the FF product line. I use FFHF soil and the Dirty Dozen nute system and always will..no guesswork. I always strive to K.I.S.S.

Thanks, I was actually on trying that next grow.. I have ocean forest now..but will for sure try the dirty dozen.
