Hey all, I did a search and didnt find much help, so if I missed it I am sorry for the double post.

But it seems I am having a bad promblem with my ph promblem. I am useing reverse osmosis water and it seems when i get the ph to around 5.8, about 3-4 days later its back up to around 7 range and get it fixed again and it keeps going up.

I am using starter plugs, for my seedlings and 2ml per quart of thrive alive b-1.

I have always had this promblem and usally i keepwater in seperate bucket and let it bubble for 2-3 hours to make sure the ph aint jumping to bad.

Thanks for the help, if you need anytihng else let me know.

right now its for my carrabien peppers and hot lemon peppers using a bubblepoincs set up.

Thanks

Check it once a day. Don't try to force it to 5.8, a wide range is ok. After awhile it will stop swinging like a pendulum. if you get it ranging from 6 to 6.5 you'll be fine.

So what exactly is the problem?

Get some pH down.
The promblem is, is it normal to keep goig up every time i have adjusted it. I had thought after a few days it would settle done and stop going up 1.0 to 1.5 every 3 days. So I ahd thought after 3-4 days it would settle and only flucated by 0.1 to like 0.3 or so.

Thanks, yea, i usally do between 5.5 to 6.5 range, but it swings all the time. Didnt know if was something I was doing as it seems to never settle settel and stay between that range.

Usually takes me about a week or two for my rez pH to stabilize - until then, it's constantly creeping up on me.

Another thing - only check and adjust once a day and try to do it at the same time every day. The swings are in a cycle so when you force it at different times you upset the cycle.
