PH Problems

Looks like the same result to me. With the liquid in the vial, in order to get a good grasp on the color try not to hold it up in direct lighting or anything... just kind of hold it up to ambient light or even a window.

Alright, maybe I am too particular/color blind lol. Thank you, I think I will be using the vial from now on though, I can read it easier than the strips.

Well, here it is. Tell me what you guys think.
The strip color looks weird, can't really tell what it's reading. I believe the GH drops are much more indicative of the true pH. It looks between 6.5 and 7, which is good for soil

the pH strips are total crap, the GH drop are much closer to the truth, pH pens are best

That test strip would confuse the hell out of me, it's sort of in between each colour range. I use a cheap PH probe meter I got from a local garden store, seems to work okay for both liquid and soil testing and is easy to read.

That strip is kind of weird, the "neutral" color looks gray to me in that picture.

I am really not color blind, sorry lol, its nice of you to look out for me tho ;) I thought it was hard as hell to tell with those strips. They were in the mailbox in like 30 degree weather so it is possible that they are messed up. So tempermental, but accurate readings are important.

MJA,
I am actually partially color blind so it isn't an all or nothing thing.

Regarding the strips...they aren't temp sensitive but excessive moisture will deteriorate the strip function...
