PH Meters

I buy two meters ever since one read real high ph and I shocked it by lowering. Don’t even stress if ph is off by 0.5. My range is easy 5.5-6.5 and I let them drink almost it all DWC. If plants look good they’re happy. Both calibrated same day as pic.

I’m the new guy on the feed, I appreciate everybody’s info.

With that wide rangeu dont see any nutrient deficiencies? Purple stems or stalks, leaf colors, purple veins?

PHing is not needed if you use buffered nutes. The buffers make the ph swing some, but that's not a bad thing. Trying to ph out the swing would not make things better.

I have been using an Apena PH60 pen for 2 years... thing has been awesome.. I used to run 5.5-6.5 now i never go below 5.9 or 6.0.. below 5.8 the uptake of one of the main nutes drops off massively (too lazy to look up the chart right now) but it made a big difference staying around 6.
