a bio filter is a thing people use in fish tanks to keep the water clear and filterd. I read an article in an old skunk magazine about them and figured it was worth a try. most people at hydro stores dont no what they r. It keeps roots clean and helps with root rot and so on. If ur water gets to hot it helps some how with that to. When i went back to chemical nutes it took care of my ph proublems
Nice! sounds like I could use one of those. I use an inline micro screen filter in my aero pipe system. I wonder if I could make a bio folter fit somehow, because too am having terrible pH problems, and a few temp issues as well. I can't afford a water chiller yet so I have to real guerrilla style with frozen poland spring bottles, but it doesn't really do a great job at keeping the temps down.
Never Outgunned, I've heard nothing but positive things about H2O2, but also a scary story from someone on this forum getting visited by the DEA for asking a local store about it. So I guess you should always have your grow store order it for you because although it's legal, it is a watched chemical (food grade I mean - 35%). I hope your pH stabilizes. It sucks having to babysit the rez like that.
