PH is at 4 i need to bring it up asap...

most cases of tobacco mosiac virus that i've seen in cannabis end up being broad mites.. i've yet to see any cannabis plants affected with tmv, other than one guy who was selling a cure for tmv, imagine that..

Stop with the distilled water. It's good for steam irons, not plants.

Tap water is usually just fine, but if you must have bottled water, get spring water.

Agricultural lime is fine, as is garden lime. Dolomite lime is sometimes labeled as garden or agricultural lime.

Oh I don't have to use distilled water. I thought it was the best that's why I was using it. I would love to use spring water at half the price. I also would love to use my tap water, but its well water and its really hard we don't even drink or cook with it. I tested the ppms of the tap and it was 1377 ppm. I don't know whats in it but I know healthy drinking water shouldn't be higher than 500 ppms. If I can use spring water I will definitely do that, but I didn't know that it was better than distilled. I will start on the spring water tomorrow, I have a natural spring about 5 miles away. Free water hell yeah. Thanks again man.

Do does anyone have a clue what the problem is. If it is TMV I should take then out of the room now so the rest don't get infected right?
 
I can't see any pics either.

I VERY seriously doubt you have TMV. Re read Racerboys post. Unless you have a tobacco field next door ...........

As great a tool a these forums are, sometimes it's like a hypochondriac discovering WebMD. I know I was EXACTLY like that. Your plants, like every other living thing, are gonna have good days and bad days. They WILL develop "hang-nails" and exhibit little signs of distress for no apparent reason. And if they ARE getting sick for real, you have days to correct the problem (in an organic environment) Christ, i remember stressing out when a leaflet hung just a tad bit lower than I thought it should!!! Relax man. Don't stress over this. Let the plant do it's thing, just be there for it and give it what it wants. (Not what you think it needs! ​And certainly not every new "snake-oil" that hits the market promising bigger yields and more THC!!!)
 
Thanks Jack. Since I posted this Ive taken some of the suggestions people have said. I gave them some dolomitic lime to fix the ph. Ph is now perfect and I flushed them with 1/4 strength nute. They are looking amazing now. Some of the leaves are still a little faded but that's ok the majority are looking great. I gotta stop stressing about every little thing cause Im gonna try and fix something that's not wrong and create a world of problems. Thank you all for your help on this thread and on my other thread about TMV with pics. Everything is going great now and I wouldn't have been able to do it without you guys. RIU rocks!!!!!!
 
In soil, once you have stabilized the pH, I can just about guarantee that is set in stone! It will NOT drift in soil as it does in solution.
 
Its not exactly soil. Al Im using is Sphagnum Pete moss and perlite. Sphagnum Pete I was told is loaded with acidity so I hope that this one time that I applied Lime it will stay at its current ph. Hopefully the pete moss wont fluctuate too much.
 
my water is ph 4.0 out of the tap, i just adjust a little but i use atleast 1 cup of pulverized dolomite lime per cubic foot of soil i use when i mix it up. then i topdress after about 6-8 weeks again. have great harvests so far. i just buy ph up dont need the down lol. and dont worry about the runoff just make sure you got some lime in there ahead of time next time and adjust your water ph if your really freaked out about it.

Once you set the pH with lime, it's gonna stay put. Peat is acidic, but the lime is the buffer.
