PH for water with Organics?

Does water PH matter when using all organic soil and teas only? No feeding, just plain water and teas every couple weeks. My tap water is about 8.2 on average and is city water with all the other bad shit in it like floride and chlorine that comes with city tap water.

Im trying to get a friend to join the organic movement and stop using liquid nutrients, but the plants we have right now are all dieing. Not sure if its the mix, or the water, but there arent any other factors I can think of. thanks!

Ideal soil ph is 6.8. Buy some ph down, and adjust your feedings accordingly.

NO! Absolutely not! (Sorry Pin) Before you start dumping chemicals in your water, why don't you post up more information about what is in your mix and what is going on with your plants. Pictures always help.

@hugaddiction make sure you read at least the first few pages of the Recycled Organic Living Soil thread!
