Question for veteran growers. What do you keep your ph at in veg and in flower. Please provide pics of results if any

No difference between the two !!
Hydro applications are kept twixt 5.8 to 6.2 I never liked wider spreads as I had pH (low) problems when going outside that range.

Soil and synthetic use 6.5 to 6.7.... and as long as you keep your micro heard active - you can go outside that range a bit.

Organic water only soils with well built active bio's = never bothered with pH
Organic soils with organic feeds......This can be tricky to answer as some will say it doesn't matter. BUT, I have seen particular brands of organic feeds make the solution severely low... This is actually somewhat common for liquid organic feeds....

FOR ME ,, to feel safe when I use liquid organic feeds. ( I do home made water only soils but, supplement heavy feeder strains with a feed solution based on liquid feeds) I do pH those to 6.7 before use. I like to feel safe..

Very nice I ask because I usually keep ph at 6.3. Last run 5.8 in soil and came out as good. But recently spoke to a couple people who have very good skill in this game and they use different ph for veg and flower.Screenshot_2015-11-07-21-13-46-02-480x854.jpeg

I fooled with it a bit - found it to be a waste of time vs. results......Abandoned the idea.

I have to ask - 5.8 in soil?
Was that the actual soil pH or the pH of any in-going.
If you said "soil". How did you meter it?

5.8 soil pH and held there would be giving me lockouts - fast!

I feel lower pH is a bigger problem then one a bit higher. At least it would seem from my experience!

5.8 ph of anything going in. Runoff was like 6.2? Around there. Don't have a spot meter.

In soil eh?
Well dude, Your soil is self pHing. I'll bet the soil's pH is around 6.7-6.9
What happens when you water is that the soil will drop pH as much as 1.0 and as the soil dries back out it rise's back to it's "home" pH value.
This natural fall and rise or "swing"....is natures way of making nutrients available at optimal availability for uptake..

Your soil is doing the pH work for you. If you adjust to that 5.8. You don't have to - save some $ and don't......

So if I am at 6.7/6.8 that means I'm not running to high and I won't get a nutrients lockout?
I'm getting some yellow leaves going on and I don't know if I'm having a nutrients, I give her 900ppm at the moment (she is in week 4 of flower)
I'm using 100 watt (actual wattage, 5x20watt)
Humidity 50/60%
Temperature 20/24

Maybe, maybe not... you're not really telling us what you have going on. To start, are you soil? I can't tell if that's a party cup your ladies are in or not.

Companies design there nutrients for a maximum pH ranges.

Leafs tend to yellow towards end of flowering. Yellowing can also be caused by rootbound. What's your temps in f?
