Ph during flush (DWC)

I've never use anything but gh trio. And ph up or down. No calmag no extra stuff. Pretty simple. Tap water is 70ppm max. I've even been going no bennies. Temps got warm this summer and didn't matter. I figured I'd have root problems but didn't.

cutting off nutrients to the plant and giving only water does not remove anything from the flowers. quite the opposite. once you stop fertigating the plant will begin to pull nutrients from the leaves and use to continue to keep itself alive and reproductively viable.

on top of that, there is simply no biological mechanism for a plant to remove things it's already been fed from the flowers. its all been converted to energy the plant uses for photosynthesis and growth. it isn't as If there are just unused bits of chelated nutrients hiding in the buds.

starving a plant for the last bit of flower really only helps by beginning some of the chemical conversion processes early. your basically getting a tiny head start on the dry/curing process

I used to love gh’s FloraNova base. I ran the full line in hydro, wound up dropping out the rapid start, but kept the others. I found the new label FloraNova wasn’t as good as it used to be before Monsanto bought out GH. I was always 250-300 ppms lower in my tank with the new label. I’ve got the whole line here and I’m not running it. I switched to the Jack’s last grow, super easy and it’s real clean after you harvest. It does burn my tips though.
I used to flush with gh‘s FloraKleen, but stopped after I joined this site. Now I just cut back my ppm’s after the buds are getting done looking. I run them on tap water a few days at the end usually too and I stopped PHing the tap water as all I was doing was adding ppms to it at the very end.
Monsanto didn't buy out GH. Scotts did and they are part of Scotts Hawthorne Gardening subsidiary. Botanicare and a bunch of other companies are part as well.

Hawthorne Gardening Company, formed in October 2014, is The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company's subsidiary for cannabis growers and one of the first major investments by a major United States corporation in the cannabis industry.

I only commented on your post because I assumed you would want to have accurate information. I don't care for either company but some of the smaller ones that have been acquired by Scotts are still running the way they were before being acquired and still make a good product.

Scotts sure did make a move into the cannabis space though.

just like mustgrow said, it's based on Lucas formula 1:2 ratio of micro:bloom MaxiBloom is also a 1 part dry nute based on Lucas.

you "shouldn't" need anything else (maybe some Epsom salt if you see a bit of a Mg issue) even with RO.

i've never tried Jacks 321 but I love Jack's RO or Tap formulas. 1 part dry mix, no additives needed but i do add Silica and Fulvic acid.
What silica and fulvic acids are you using?
