Ph Drift question on fence post system

Hello RIU peeps, I am using a fence post areo setup and was wondering what is a acceptable Ph drift .I set it at 5.8 and checked it 2 days later and it 6.0. Should be adding down or just let it do what it do . Thanks a ton RIU

My ph usually takes bout 3 dys to drift up from where I initially set it. But, to me that's a good thing as the plants uptake different nutrients at different ph levels.
As long as it is staying within an acceptable range I wouldn't worry about it. JMO

I start at about 5.5 and change it every 5 days. When I can, no more than 6,3. Then it goes to the greenroom for the moms and stuff. I never rebalance my ph, only top up the res. I don't ph the res top up water either. Everything stays green and healthy. I think the swing is a good thing.

I used to check and adjust PH everyday if needed, now I learned so I only adjust my PH when I change my Res, every 2 weeks. Now if I see things aren't going as well as expected I will check it but so far it hasn't been a problem doing it this way. The biggest thing I learned is that Res needs to be cleaned thoroughly every time you change it. Good luck, enjoy the fruits of your labor.

A real newb here but I have never cleaned the res until the end of each grow. I have run appr. 8-9 cycles so far and never had an issue. What is the reason for cleaning it? Is it root rot, algae, or something else? Just curiuos is all. I do find that my PH will slowly creep up over a period of a week or so but only by .1 or .2. And then it will start to drop rapidly and thats when I change res. I never top up because it just seems to throw things out of balance. What size is your res? What nute levels are you running?

Yeah my units are in for 9 weeks and then cleaned.

Im hoping 9 weeks this run lol. Not many jars left in the cupboard !!!
