PH control kit

The GH up and down are fine but IMO you'll want to get a digital ph meter instead of the testing drops. As often as you need to test the drops will get old real fast and the digital meters are faster, easier, and much more accurate. 10-15 dollars on eBay or amazon

I'm with Majorduke. I recommend a digital. Many models to choose from.

For a few years I used Milwaukee portable units and they worked for me. It was about $20.00 and had replaceable batteries and was a pretty accurate pH meter IIRC. I now use a Milwaukee MC120 with a submersible probe. It's great and I can monitor it 24/7. I also got one of their TDS meter with a submersible probe. I am looking for a submersible thermometer that's reliable. As I said, digital is much better IMO and there are so many models to choose from.

I wish you luck.

Thanks Traplife. How does it work. Will it measure the water temperature? It looks like a controller.

Yes it will measure water temperature. The screen has two numbers - current temp reading, and "target temp reading" so it is a controller, but if you dont plug anything into its outlets it will just read out temperature. has a nice 4ft wire on the probe so you can place the unit on the outside of your tent.

I love my PH drops testing. standing in the kitchen filling the vile laughing evil "stand back im doing SCIENCE!.. Igor fetch me my the red tincture!" my furry friend sitting in the doorway and looking puzzled on the human with that corked head and "w t f.." writen on its face.

how precise they are i cant comment about, but havent kille dmy plants with PH yet so something must be right.

What style (method) are you growing?

You can buy highly accurate pH plastic/paper dip strips that you simply dip and read...."Water quality test strips" is what you would google.
These work for hydro or soil use. Fair pricing around 12 buck a hundred

Never been a fan of "add solution" style metering!!! TOO MANY VARIABLES!
