ph and nute burn problems, help please. Pics included

Ph pen is brand new and I calibrate it everytime, once i get the ph levels down to around 5.5 or 5.6 I leave them alone for a few hours then they are all around 6.2 or 6.3. Anyone know why this is?

Also was woundering if I should cut away at the lower leaves if they are dead or dont look good? Heard i should but i dont want to stress it or stunt its growth more.

Im thinking by the time I get the PH levels leveled out it will be time for a res. change and ill have to do it all over again, any suggestions? thanks for the help!

A fast climbing pH could mean your tank needs a proper system clean. What color is the nutrient, does it look dark and silty, if so it could be an algae outbreak. Also check the status of the roots if you can. See if there is any rot in them. Are you treating your nutrient with anything to prevent mould and rot?

Im using the standalone systems from GH and the GH flora nutes. Roots are hanging down in 3 of them and all look great, white as can be. This is also my first grow...

And should I trim away the dead leaves at the bottom? I took pics above.

Thanks.

I prefer to leave them on for now to watch them get worse or remain the same. They will drop off in their own time. What E.C are you running and I cannot tell from the pics but is that a DWC, top feed, flood and drain or what sort of hydro system are you running there. If not DWC then what is the feeding schedule?

pH levels change quite a bit, theres not much you can do, you should be checking twice a day anyways. Pretty much the only con with hydro

The marijuana growers bible says never cut off sun leafs unless they are 50% dead or yellowing. Grow in soil it's easier than hydro for me anyway.
