I just checked my res and the pH was 5.6 but ppm have gone up from yesterday. 230 ppm to 255 ppm. What am I doing wrong or is this normal. I added nutes on Wed at 1/4 strength. The plants will have been in the cabinet 3 weeks tomorrow. Do I need the flush or should I increase the nutes??? Hope someone can help me out here. I am doing a DWC in a small dorm fridge using CFL's.

plants are drinking more than eating. increase your PH . They will do that though.

If you get 230-250ppm at 1/4 strength, up to 1/2 strength or even full strength.

Don't be confused, just feed your plants the right amount. 250ppm is too low for any stage of growth in dwc.

Rising 25ppm means absolutely nothing. It could have rose just from temperature rising.

Not 100% true. Hydroponic- Research V + B is very concentrated. I veg ~ 200 ppm to great plants

Well thanks to all that responded to the questions. I topped off with water, and the pH is holding @ 5.6 I was wondering if the Advanced Nutrients claim to hold the pH in check. I will check again when the lights come on here shortly.

Checked the res and ppm's are down from 255 to 219 and the pH is holding steady @ 5.62. Today is 3 weeks since I put them in the fridge. Got some photos for ya'll to check out.

Both ladies in the fridge, chilling

Here is Ms. Haze. Damn she smells good and skunky today. She is 2 3/4" tall.

This is Ms. Critical. She has grown to 3 1/2 inches and isn't quite as skunky as Ms. Haze. Stalk is almost a 1/4'' in diameter.

This has been a great day for growing. Wish I had some bud to smoke to celebrate, but I am enjoying a Flying Dog Raging Bitch for them girls in the fridge. Woo Hoo
