Peyote Grow, in or outdoors?

ive never tried growing peyote because of the long time it takes. but i do have a san pedro cactus thats a fairly fast grower. i wanted to extract mescaline eventually and still have it growin so thats why i got this. if you want to trip i suggest buying one of these.
the only thing i can tell you is my cactus is in a mix of 50% dirt, 40% perlite, and 10% sand. they like to stay dry i barley ever water mine. anyway good luck on growin them.

Thanks bro., I have San Pedro Cactus too, Khat, St. John's wort, Wild Dagga, Dream Herb,( Calea Zacatechichi ) Poppies and other herbs related to this forum. I will try to grow every damn beneficial herb out there in this good earth God gave us...

Well don't ask me... the damn seed company didn't have any instruction for this one. On most they give you an idea what to do, but not this one. 3 weeks no germination yet! I bet it is surface sow, just under the surface and yet, the light can get to it; I just learned this a week or so ago. CACTI: Sow in compost. Furrow should be very shallow and seeds must not be completely covered. Water from beneath. Cover container with glass, then a piece of dark paper (as from paper bag) or a piece of black plastic. Position in a dark place, maintaining a temperature of 70-75ºF. Keep moist. When germination commences, move to a position that receives indirect light (do not place in sun). Allow good air flow and continue watering from beneath. When seedlings begin to overcrowd the container, pot up. During the first winter season, make sure to keep plants warm, but do not allow to get too dry. From second year onward, keep on the dry side during the winter months.

I can hardly wait 12 weeks. But i do love a good trip. Maybe if I had a little extra space I'd set it up. But don't you need a dozen caps to make a tea? That's a lot of area time and effort to devote to a fleeting moment. I'd really hate to put in 8 years and then find out I harvested too early. But I do like looking forward to the next harvest, so I guess I can see it.
I'm trying to decide on growing Vortex now and looking forward to Jillybean or vice versa. I think I'll sprout some Jillybeans,.. just because i like the name better.

I would love to grow enough poppies for a good time.... also been wantin to make some mescaline,, used to buy a hundred hits for 60 bucks in central park back in the day,, DOZE WERE DA DAZE......

I tried last year and it was strange, only 3 o 4 roots were in the soil, very flimsy. After doing some research, this is quite normal. I gave up on the first try, I do have some persian whites and one Gigantium growing... 1" tall right now.
