Does anyone know of something I can raise as a useful pet that eats spider mites and or fungus gnats?

I was thinking praying mantis but these are only useful when they are young.

I have room to build a habitat in my tent, even if I could raise green lacewings. Anyone have any expierence raising lacewings?

These guys are cute and good at removing little bugs.

I tried to buy lacewings and they never hatched. If you do end up buying some and they hatch let me know your secret because I want to do the same thing.

Good luck!

I've thought about praying mantis as well..are there not small species that would be good to live in the grow permanently?
