Hi guys
Good afternoon currently on my first ever grow and am having another problem I am growing Thc Bomb. Auto feminized everything is going okay presumably I had a plant early on that showed signs of being a hermie so with advice of fellow members it got taken out and thrown in the bin , my
Other plant the one in the pics has been fine throughout the grow no problems and 2 days ago was fine I’ve taken it out today to water and seen those pollen sacks in various places all over her she’s in flower now and I don’t no what to do should I stick with her and everyday inspect her for pollen sacks and remove or get rid just frustrating as the time and money I’ve put into getting set up and constantly trying to learn Just feels like 2 steps forward 1 step back this plant has been faster than the others she’s bigger and gone into flower sooner do I persist or kill it off , you will see what I’ve currently plucked from her this afternoon
any feed back will be much appreciated thanks

I would toss it. Find some quality genetics. Don’t blame yourself for the hermie. Good breeders do stress testing to make sure their plants don’t possess this trait. A couple of breeders I recommend you try are Mass Medical Strains or CSI Humboldt. As a new grower you likely will make some mistakes, with genetics from breeders like Mass medical strains your plants will not hermie.

Hi Grow So High
Thanks for getting back to me yes someone else mentioned to stay away from feminized auto flowering strains as they tend to hermie often he said usually 1-5 but potentially out of 5 I’ve had 2 confirmed and suspect a 3rd is showing early signs I believe so with these breeders Mass Medical Strains or CSI Humboldt I’ve ordered some off fastbudz have you ever used them but I will take your advice and have a look and place an order

thanks a lot damo

Don't take advice like this blindly. Plants tend to hermie if the breeder bred in hermie traits (or because of non-genetic stress has been introduced), not simply because they're auto fem seeds.
This. Lots of bad advice that gets spread around.

I only say those companies because I have experience with them. There are so many other good breeders out there you just gotta do some searching and find breeders that actually care about quality. These guys above are right, not all autos are bad but the nice thing about growing photoperiod plants is you can make sure your plant is in its best health before inducing flower to give yourself the best chance. With auto flowers if you make a mistake and your plant starts to flower it could affect the quality of your bud or in some cases cause hermies.
