i recently had a heat problem and had to chop down a bunch of og kushes prematurely. before that i had a root aphid problem and had to kill most my shit.

so i got an ac unit and cleaned my tables and i'm goin to attempt to journal a perpetual grand daddy purple grow.

this is heat stress, lack of ppm, and root aphids. <---dont try this at home


Lights:

2x600w hps for flower.
2x32w t8 for veg.

*i have a 175w MH for when the mom gets big that i need to figure out how i'm gonna keep it cool and run in my room still. but we'll save that for later.





for my ventilation i cut a hole in the wall and i am sucking air conditioned air from my bedroom into my flower room with a 160cfm 4 inch in line. and exhausting thru one of my hoods with another 160cfm inline. that exhausts into the veg room and there i have a squirrel fan with a carbon filter that does a good job of switching the air in there and cleaning it before pushing it out into my hallway. then i have my exhaust fan in my bathroom pulling air out along with a window fan.

if anyone comes over as long as my door is shut they have no clue that all this even goes on.

the 4 plants to the right in the last 2 pics i just moved to flower today.

they were vegged for about 3 weeks, topped, then vegged for another 9 days and today i put them in the bloom room.

that bottom plant on the right is an og kush i will be hand feeding on the side throughout the perpetual purps grow.


so for now i think i covered most bases.
feel free to ask questions or shoot me any advice or info you have about the purps.
i did a few gdp grows back in the day, i'm hoping to get better results this time around.

so i didnt quite lollipop, but i figured i better take down some of the bottom,
less productive stems and try to root them.
i got about 15 cuttings, 12 usable ones.
3 of them are og kush cuttings, i'll probably give those away if they root or find
somewhere around the city to put them. do like a urban low key grow.

so the last two hoes from the main mom finally rooted.
good thing too, cuz i had made up my mind that if when i checked them the next time if i didnt see roots i was chuckin'em.

Very nice sir. I like your setup. GDP is fairly mild when it comes to potency (at least to me) but those plants sure look good. Hope you the best and keep us all updated. subcribed!!!

i like doing the purps cuz it always goes like hot cakes.


so in the veg side everything rooted and is now in 4 inch cubes.

i haven't pulled new cuttings yet cuz i'm waiting to see what all this looks like once they are all on 6 inch blocks and on the flood table.

in the next week or so i will put 6 more into flower, then things will really stop being polite and start gettin real.
i've been hand feeding since its only 4 plants right now and i have the time to do it.
i'll start doing the drip thing in the next 2 weeks tho i'm sure.

on the 1212 side shit is lookin lovely, i will post pics later when my internet permits.

here goes some pics, they are kinda out of order but whatever.
i put another 6 in there 6 or 7 days ago and cut 6 clones last night.

the ac i got isnt really making it cold enough for the purple to come out.
in my experience the purps likes it in the mid to high 60s and my shit gets the coldest at 76 so these will just be some summer grapes

here's a few pics, everything is going well.
no internet still so i will fuck with you folks later.

looken very gud. by the way I found out the strain i have is GDP for sure. they have two more weeks to go and the purple is coming out real well. my temp during the night cycle is at 64

i just started running a bunch of purples myself some querkle some g13 purp haze ceres purple thseeds da purps and i think it was either next gen or secret valleys purp deisel

i chopped 2 of 4 down last night and the other two will be cut down either tonight or tomorrow.

i'll post pics of the end product and final weigh in when all that is ready.
