Perpetual Juicing Garden?

Hey friends,
So i want to start a small juicing garden with only high CBD strains. My thoughts are that i could just do a constant veg of say 6 rotating plants. Scrog them to fill say a 2'x4' T5 light spread, and when one plants vegged to its max and starting to stop producing leaves well, replace it with a new one.

I guess i would just like to get some input from the hard core nerds. Nug you out there juice man? lol Is it possible to harvest all the leaves you need to juice, with 6 plants under a T5? If not this way, any other ideas? Thanks for the help you can lend friends.

Man, juicing is HUGE for medical benefits. Nug is one man who knows a good deal on RIU...;-)

But so now i think im leaning towards instead of a 2'x4' t5, getting 2 4bulb t5's. They're like 13" wide by 46", so i could do 2 side by side, built into a cab, so final dimensions be like 15" x 8'. Could make it like 3' high and use the top as a bookshelf like thing... I guess im just wanting some input/thoughts about veg growth specifically for harvesting the leaves. And or any other thoughts anyone may have. Design and/or concept ideas?

Really the most important question is how much juice do you want? T5s won't produce new leaves quickly enough to satisfy even a small appetite.

I've been juicing leaves and fresh flowers for about a year and a half. It takes about a pound of leaves to produce 4-6 ozs of juice. I drink about 1 oz per day so I need a pound+ per week. You won't be able to produce that with less than 20 4' T5s. If you would be willing to accept leaves from any strain rather than high CBD strains then there is a method that I'm working on but you need outside growing area in order to do it.

Have you looked at the website cannabisinternational.org? This is a huge wealth of knowledge for people wanting to eat or juice cannabis. Good luck.

it takes a lot bro, one of the driving factors of my Main-Lining style was that it can produce a lot of material when the understory is pruned out, actually all the pruning for that matter.....i was able to freeze 50 days worth, i take 1/2 cup (4 oz.) a day, frozen in individual doses in zip locks......it was a shitload as you can imagine.....i have been going strong for about 25 days...so half way through my "serious" go at it, then my supply will be very sporatic, because my scene is so small, but not a leaf will go un-juiced...

i think if a person wanted to supply himself with fresh juice for an extended period of time, they would need a greenhouse......i have a small greenie, and it is too small, plus my season is too short for it to work right, not that it can't be done, i am sure it can.......i think if i were to do it full-time...i would pick my best high CBD mom, put her in a large ammount of soil, give her her own light, and grow her BIG, then just keep her in veg, and keep hacking her back...juice.....grow....hack...root-prune/re-pot....grow....hack....juice etc, ....that way you can keep you numbers down (if that is a concern).....it is a commitment, but i know it is some serious medicine, and am convinced it is a big part of me regaining my health....i am slowly but steadily getting better, and stronger....
p.s.....i would also pinch, pinch, pinch...and create a "super-bush" dig?....cause what you want is thin-stemmed secondary growth, that makes for good juice material......if your stems get to beefy, you have to de-stem, and that is a waste of "energy in".....i may be doing this soon, so thank you for getting me thinking about it....

Thanks bro, and also, it would be nice if your juice mom was an "epic" plant, that way you can give clones away like it is x-mas every couple weeks!

Hey guys, juicing is awesome first of all. Juicing cannabis is even better! I work retail and deal with a lot of these machines and people looking to get healthy. I keep about 30 leaves in ziplocks in the freezer. Every time I prune I fill a few bags, I've got about 20 small baggies frozen right now. Anytime I make any kind of smoothie I add 10-15 leaves (bout a half cup) and mix em in. Don't notice em, but I bet my body does. I'd like to eventually juice whole plants. I use a vitamix blender, it totally emulsifies anything.

For someone with a permanent liquid diet, unable to smoke you captured my attention. I have only just begun to look into high CBD strains and have never heard of juicing MJ. I'm subd :!:

I may be wrong but I think all fluro tubes are the same:?: T5 is just more efficient than T12. T12 may require using more tubes but you can get the same lumen and color range as T5.

I bring this up for 2 reasons; I use T12s and I did at one time try to max out the veg with a black domino. ( It has a nice pepper smell and good with pain.)
Under 18/6 at near 90 days it went into flower. I'm not knowledgeable enough to understand how or why it flowered under 18/6  and one cannot draw any meaningful conclusion from a one plant experiment.

Good Luck
