Perpetual Grow. When do you start planting seeds while you are flowering?

Perfect world; when I'm in week 3 of 9 (like i said, Perfect world  ) in my 4x4, i start new seeds or clones in the 2x2. Upon week 9, chop and hang everything in the 4x4, hang at 60° 60% RH for 2 weeks, empty & sterilize the 4x4, throw the 2x2 plants in the 4x4, repeat.

REAL world; finish 3 or 4 plants in my 4x4 at staggering rates from weeks 9 to about 13, hang in lung room 1 or 2 at a time because i have nowhere else, start seeds or clones in the 2x2 way too soon and overfill it before last plant finishes at week 96, sterilize the 4x4, add 2x2 contents to 4x4 and create some weird random pattern of cycles the next round.

Perfect world: 2 mainlined plants perfect size ready to be transferred from the veg zone to flower zone. one zone flowering mainlined plants and another zone with plants being trained using manifolding and will be recovered by the time drying is done from the flowering plant.
Real world: blackouts has caused young vegging plants in the veg zone to swap to flower and now have to be revegged causing different growth patterns. manifold training gets messed up, plants grow too fast and too big.

I'm pretty sure i started this perpetual grow too early (two plants in early veg stage on the top row using dwc. the other plants are clones i don't really care for). should i let them grow out and see what happens or start germinating seeds during week 6 of flower? it's currently week 3 of flower. i plan to manifold, lst, and scrog.

i don't want this disaster to happen again. This is my second perpetual grow.hydro.jpg

I figure flowering is around 10 weeks or so, so I would start new seeds around the halfway mark for 4 weeks or so of veg. Generally speaking though, i just pop seeds whenever and veg them until they are the size I want and space opens up to move them into flower. I tend to get a backlog by the fall so just let whatever has accumulated flower outside.

Those plants looked healthy during veg but the flower pick is a disaster. What happened? Looks like a lot of deficiencies to me.

Power consumption is the reason i don't run a full size veg tent anymore it effectively doubled the cost+.
For a fraction of that cost i can keep a mother/clones and prepare seedlings to the point they only need 10/14 days veg in the bigger tent before flowering.

D90 clone tent...
mums, dads, clones, seedling and a revegging mother.
Less than a £1 for 24hrs heating and lighting...

I take cuttings about every 4th week when running two flowering rooms. New rooted clones every six week. But it all depends of how fast your growth rate is and what system you run. You have to dial that in by yourself with your environment.

One got root rot and the other was fine. I got lazy with constantly refilling the reservoir for my second grow. My third perpetual grow are the heathy plants. You are looking at 4 different grows.

I posted 4 perpetual grows. My first I posted vegging with soil plants and finished results. My second perpetual grow, I only posted the veg pics grown by my computer desk. My third one is the healthy pictures.

You need double the veg space and lighting as flower room in order to do an actual perpetual seed grow
Even then it isn’t really perpetual if you aren’t running various stages
Doubling the power consumption for veg is why people don’t do it
Yeah. I wasn’t really thinking where to put it so I put it by my computer. That is my second perpetual grow. I didn’t post the flower pics of my second grow. My 4th upcoming grow will be relocated to my living room which has plenty of space. The healthy picture is my third grow currently flowering.

stop yelling at me!! I CAN READ NON-CAP LETTERS JUST AS GOOD. Question, do you flush? XD .. I've learned that laziness and growing doesn't work well together. Just one of those things that you need to be ahead of the problems
