Perpetual Grow Set-Ups

Hello everyone,

after doing a few grows, we are thinking that we smoke way too much to just have a few in flowering, and calling it a day. so the idea is a perpetual grow. having enough plants for 2 stoners to stay high all day. i mean we wake up and smoke, eat breakfast, smoke, etc...

what have you guys done? im thinking to have 3 or 4 in (different stages of) flowering always, you need to have around 10 or so in veg always?

is it better to just push a bunch, harvest from a lot of plants at once, and stock up on herb?

anyone got any advice/input? we might be moving soon so knowing what room/sizes are recommended is good to know before.

PS: dont send me to that dudes thread where he builds the greenhouse. its cool but im renting lol

I use tray's of plants, but one plant instead of twelve per container will work exactly the same.

Nine weeks bud cycle, three containers in the budroom, one every three weeks. Take two or three clones off each plant a few days before it goes into the budroom.
Keep the best one when the roots take.
The minimum necessary number of plants at any given time is six. One is a clone, two are vegging, two are budding, and one is being harvested.

I leave the extra clones in 8 oz styrofoam cups, it binds up the roots and stays under 10", it's a free quarter oz and fits anywhere in the budroom. No branches, no veg time, it will bud just going one side to the other around the real plant.

I suspect this is not the only method, but it has been working for me.

The hard part is the start up.
Six weeks prior, aquire clone, three weeks prior aquire second clone.

Some growers keep a clone mother for a steady supply of clones until the system is on schedule and functioning smoothly.

Day Zero. Take clone and put first plant to bud.
Three weeks, take clone and put second plant to bud.
Six weeks, take a clone and put third plant to bud.
Room is full.
Nine weeks, harvest plant, take clone and put replacement plant to bud.

Repeat as necessary.

If you smoke lots and lots, then start the clones so they veg longer for bigger plants. As long as a plant is ready every three weeks they can be as large as needed, still only take nine weeks to harvest. OK, six if it is a fast bud indica, not what I have.

You might also want to consider 12/12 from seed. Just start 1 a week with a 6-7week flowering cycle strain and you'll be pullin an o a week no problems. Won't require much space and you won't need a 18/6 area.

yea im doing 6 plants now haha thats not enough, i think i just gotta double it. what im planning on doing is vegging the shit outa 2 that i know are female (seed that showed gender, and i cloned once), anyways, vegging them, cloning them a lot, and getting plenty going, im trying to figure out how to use better space management seems the veg room has to be the largest, with plenty of space for clones, and the plants themselves. the flowering seems like i would need 1 entering flowering, 1 about a month in, and 1 getting ready to be harvested.

I just got my perpetual thing kinda in sinc.
As I put a round of six girls into flower , I took a bunch of clones and started to get them rooting. After two weeks , I got six to root. I then put them into some Rapid Rooter Plugs and put right into 4" Rockwool Blocks. Vegged for the remaining 6 weeks. This is a total of 8 weeks. As my crop of ladies Flowered for their eight weeks , I got the next round going . So when I harvest my current girls , the same day I can wash things up and get the next round going again . As I get this new round going , I take another bunch of clones off these girls and start all over. This way , I will harvest every 8 weeks and I don't have to keep mothers if I don't want too.

I have a 4-5 week harverst in a 1.2 x 2.4 tent.

I can just squeeze 7 in half my tent in flower. I veg another 10 (keep best 7) in same tent , taking out and putting under floro's for extra 6 hours per each day then back in at lights on. Constant rotation and gets me around an 1kg per 4-5 weeks. Alot of work but worth it.
