Hey guys, I'm on my first grow and I want to set it up where I can harvest at least once a month. Can someone tell me the fundamentals of setting this up? Whether its links to different instructions or w.e I need clear and concise instructions as this is something I really desire to learn. Thank you all in advanced!!

Pretty simple really, how many plants do u wanna harvest a month? 16 for example, put 16 in this month and 16 more in 4wks later! When the first batch is done pullem out and replace with another 16! It'll take a full cycle to start but every month after the initial 2 months(+/-) cycle u can chop every month! Assuming ur clones root in 2 wks take a batch of 16 2 wks before u chop to replace what ur taking out! Hope this helped!...

Thanks for the response zook, I want to harvest minimum 3 plants per month. This could also work if I kept mothers right?

Also you need to have a separate grow area dedicated to veg. If you want to veg for 4 weeks. Have 3 in veg at the same time as the 3 in flower. If you want to veg for 2 months. Have 6 in veg ( 2 batches 4 weeks apart) at the same time as the 3 in flower.

Your timing will depend on the size room you are using and the strain. I'm set up to put in 2 to 4 plants every 2 weeks. This is in a 4'x4' tray and a 2'x4' tray together. The 4'x4' tray can handle 16 plants and the 2'x4' tray can handle 8 in 3 gallon bags (soil). Since I'm doing a 10 week strain, I have at max of 20 plants and 5 phases of flowering. That's the easy part. If you have someone to supply you clones when needed, then you're set. If not, a small veg closet that can hold a small mother and 3 or 4 vegging girls at a time, is needed. This is the hardest part, because you are trying to time your clones to be the same height at the time you need them. Another thing to think about is your feeding schedule. I have six different mixes when I water. I also have one end of the table with more light than the other. The brighter side is for finishing and the other end is so the plant can get use to the new light.

Thanks y'all. I don't have any access to clones gonna have to clone myself. Right now I only have a 3x3 tent with 6 flowering now under a 600w hps. I am planning on setting up my closet for vegging with a t5 set up. After I harvest the 6 plants which il be taking clones from I should start with 3 clones flowering and midway into them finishing I should put the other 3 correct??? They are also bag seed from some kind of indica and I imagine the flowering to last 8-10 weeks

For vegging I got rid of my t5's and switched to leds and a smaller closet (2'x2'x6' tall). The plants love the led floodlight and at 23 watts (120 watt equiv.). I went from 365 watts with t5's to under 100 watts with better results and no heat. Now for the clones, I would do all 6, plus 2 (just in case) at the same time. Take the best 3 @ 6" to 8" and start flowering them. Start tying down the next ones while vegging. In 3 weeks throw 3 more in to flower. That will average you to a 9 week strain. Time your cloning to the second run and go from there. Your first harvest might be small, but it's still a harvest 3 weeks sooner:bigjoint:.

Sounds like you are doing what I did, closet Veg and Flower tent 3'x3'x6'.
I could not get my air temp low enough with a 600 watt so I downsized to 400 watts.

I am using 400 watt HPS supplemented with a 90 watt CFL 4 bulb fixture.
running 83 degrees and 51% RH

I have three 90 watt lights in my veg so I can have mom and clones at different heights, got to love yo yo hangers!

I'm actually running 660 watts of led over a 4'x 7'. Total max. power draw for both rooms is under 1200 watts. No AC, but may need a dehumidifer for winter. 3 or 4 go in every 2 weeks. Now tying down to no taller than 16".
