Perpetual grow - Advice? Yes please

Seeing as the weed is shit around here in the UK - a the local dealer is charging £25 per teenth of decent cheese, I've decided the I am going to take over.

I'm looking to acheive 4-6oz per week as I am confident I can get rid of this easily.

I am looking to take on Al B Fuct's perpetual set up with tweaks, but before I start, Ill be looking to see if there is anything the experts want to add.

I will have a 1.2x1.2x2m grow tent with 4-6 big bud mothers, this will have my 400w MH light installed. I will have one (possibly 2 if required) 600w HPS in my attic as the flower room. I will also have a clonebox with my 300w CFL, this may require a 600mmx600mm tent (or a custom built box to save on cost).

I will be looking at pushing 12 plants in each second week - and following the lollypopping etc from Al's thread.

I would need to look at setting up an Ebb n Flo table (or 4) but this makes me nervous - I dont want to flood the place - or have noisy pumps as background noise, so any advice on this setup would be great.

This would be my second setup, I harvested my first pulling 5.5oz from a DWC Pure power plant on a 400w MH.

I look forward to the replies.

a couple things to think about (im no expert) but when it snows your house is going to be the one (or maby 2 hahah) that doesn't have snow on there roof. also doing a large grow like that is always going to put off noise its just how you control it. any fans you have i would make a soundbox for and hang them from the ceiling with wires so they dont vibrate to whatever you attach them to and also insulate the attic and also use insulated ducting because this will help with sound and temp control. also be careful when bringing a bunch of building material into your house , because you never know who is going to notice. hope that helped some. you should check out some of the growing dvd's that are out there i learned all this from watching them.

oh yeah and your thread tittle sounds like it was will ferrell

Lol, The titles on these bloody forums are almost as difficult as picking a future mrs.. get it wrong and you might as well forget it...

The sound box for the fan is a definate must - I just noticed a thread the other day.

Hopefully the snow has buggered off for the year now, one more day on wednesday and that should be it I hope. Plus - I live in a neighbourhood with loads of old folks so the cops aren't generally around here at all, and the old folk are as blind as bats.

As for the building material - This Gaff is rented so that'll be kept to a minimum - The cold in the night might be an issue from what I can see this time off year, but I have a max/min thermometer up there at the moment to keep an eye on that.

Thanks for the input.

The Dr.Bud Method

It may go against everything you've ever learned about growing, but trust me, it DOES work. Read through the first 10 pages or so, and prepare for you mind to be blown on the yields and efficiency of his method.

I cal it a method because it is a exact science. There are many who replicate the same method of growing with similar results:

The Dr.Bud Method by Thundurkel
A good example of it in action
Another example in action
I have not heard of this, ill get reading and let you know what I think - thank you.

Is this something you put into action yourself?

No I haven't got a clue what method would be best.

1) 2no 1month vegged plants every two weeks
2) SOG 12no rooted clones every two weeks
3) Micro grow, 12no clones every two weeks (with maybe a 1 month vegged plant every two weeks because I'm still not sure about that)

I'd like to keep the plant number down in case I need to move them, but would need 4-6oz per week.

Any suggestions?

Please don't show me more amazing yeild ideas - this shit has me confused already!

Get your hands on the June 2009 issue of Hightimes. There is an article on how to grow a pound every three weeks with detailed instruction on how to construct hydro setups on the cheap and how to manage your grow schedule. Good Luck.:bigjoint:

Lotsa ways to go about getting your 4 to 6 zips a week in your space. If you want to keep plant numbers low I would suggest looking into training and supercropping. No mothers, take a cut from the bush right before flowering. Harvest once a week. So 8 plants in veg, and 8 plants in flower. With a 400 for veg and 2 600 for flower, you should have no problem with hitting your mark even in soil..

Stinks Grow looks pretty intense - I think I could do this, on a smaller scale though

1lb = 16oz
16oz/3 = 5.333oz per week....

Oh, it'd have to be one the same scale!

Thanks, cut from the bush would certainly save some space, and a light.. and a tent! lol.

My first grow got me 5 1/2 oz's in DWC so I guess 8 of these and that's my target. Although tha plant was huge - I may need to train it better?!

So what is the secret here?

According to this, I get some plastic bottles, put cuttings in - get at least 250w light and then I get 7-21g per pot?

It can't be that simple can it?

This is certainly intriguing but I don't understand what the secret is?!

Can anyone explain this?

I keep looking at the Ebb and Flow set up, and the aeroponics but I can't have the sound of running water and pumps going off every ten minutes. Looks like it'll have to be soil...
