hi, i want to ask you if its ok tu put some perlite on top of the soil to keep more humidity for the plants.? the grow room is 1.5m x 1.5m and the plants only 2 weeks old. i am saying that cause the humidity in the room is about 45% -50%.

40-50% humidity is not bad at all. I have only 30% humidity with my humidifier running. I don't think putting perlite is going to raise your humidity and I don't think you need to do it. What the perlite does is holds air and moisture in your soil, just mix it in with the soil and you will be fine.

Never heard of that.

Pearlite on top will reflect light, and look good in your pics, but that's about it.

Thin your soil at a minimum rate of 20% for good drainage. It works wonders.

45-55% humidity is perfect for vegetative. Mist seedlings for the first 3 weeks to help keep them hydrated. :peace:
