But in all seriousness...WHY??? Were telling you, there is going to be no benefit to this. I can promise you, some fucking stoner has tried it. Nothing is new. And if it worked, the community would have heard about it. The acidic properties of the soda (any soda) will throw your ph off, and prevent nute uptake. Result? Air popcorn buds, IF you get any buds at all.
Don't waste the time, or abuse the plant...but if you TRULY feel the need to waste your time, electricity, resources, and dare I say it....your soda...
Then you probley don't need to bother with reporting results...The outcome can fairly easily be predicted. While the sugars and starches MAY be slightly beneficial, there are many things that give your plant that in a much better fashion, and doesn't include the harmful chems and acidic properties of soda. This is a mistake through and through. And your completely wasting your time with plant number 2 if you do this.

If you've already given it soda, and now regret it, flush the SHIT out of it, and pray you don't get bugs, and learn from your mistakes.
If a romanian told you to pour motor oil on your plant, cause it helped lubricate the thc, would you "try it" you know...JUST TO BE SURE....

Good luck man...although, soda on your roots...not sure if even luck can help you with that...

So I was wondering if you did give your plants coca cola because I have seen it used on vegetable gardens to help kill bugs and was wondering if you had an out come?

You're both wrong.


It's the Phosphoric Acid in Coke that cleans rust from a nail and makes the drink acidic.

Plants are able to directly up take and utilize sugars from the soil/water.

So the sugar content in Coke coming from 'high fructose corn syrup' that coke is sweetened with will feed your plants carbs they can use for energy meaning they need to do less work making those sugars themselves.


No you won't get big results but in theory yes it works, the plants can use the sugar.

The coke would have to be flat though with no gas left because Co2 at the root zone will expel oxygen which the roots need, not good.

Beer in compost tea is where it's at. The alcohol evaporates out the soil. What's left is a bouquet of nutrients. It's even got electrolytes. It's got what plants crave.
