some do it one way, other do it the other, it all depends on how good the soil is in the area you want to grow, and if you think you can get all that shit back to where your growing.

i started a couple of mine in ground... and didnt go aswell as one i had in pot... so a few weeks ago i potted ones in ground back into pots and now there flowering...

i live in essex and had potted plants outside the weathers been fine n today it decided to snow.......... great!

so! what's really the best way to start. maybe germinating first, then pots, and then ground, i really need to do it guerilla style as i am a trucker and only have so little time to check up on the plants. also i live in so.central texas.

If you are fairly secure with the location of the plants, then either way works. If you have uncool guests occassionally, pots give you the option of mobility. Transplanting more than once is going to give stress to your plants and it multiplies each time you do it. Germinate the seeds in a peat disc about 72 hours if you keep it toasty (around 75-80) and cover it for the greenhouse effect, with a clear plastic lid or some saran wrap and a rubberband. Then, if you have to move the location again before final implantation, put it in a peat pot so that you aren't really transplanting it again (just burying the peat pot.
