pentiometer question

i ordered the hlg320H-c2100B i forgot to order e pentiometer with it. can i spile the 2 wires for the pentiometer together untill i can get one ordered? also what pentiometers do you guys use any better than others in your experience?

Right, you don't need to use the potentiometer and can just put electrical tape over the ends. You get any standard 100k ohm potentiometer like THIS

and then add a 10k resistor like THIS
There are plenty of threads in RIU about how to wire it up. Simple to do. I just went go to a local electrical shop and they all have this stuff.

To be sure you got it right,dont splice the wires together, you need to tape or cap them off so they dont touch each other or anything else.
