Not sure if anyone has heard of these. http://www.unitednuclear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=27_37&products_id=456.

They are totally badass and efficient. They will literally run on a 12v battery and theyre like 12$ on ebay.You could use it to heat or cool a grow your grow box automatically given that it is reasonable a size.

Efficient? Peltier plates are notoriously inefficient.

These are only good for doing things like overclocking a processor in a computer. 9 amps??? For 10 Amps you could run a 10,000 btu portable air conditioner. Much more cooling capability in my opinion.

Did my little research on the subject and turns out your better of getting an a/c. Besides the plate opposite of the cooling side gets hella hot, youll need an exhaust leading outdoors or far from the box, similar to an a/c.

yeah turns out your all right. sorry guys, i just came across an article about kids building an A/C out of one for a car and thought it was more practical/useful than it actually is.
