NP. I am growing in a peat/perlite mix with added dolomite lime for pH stability, under 2 600w lamps using GH Flora 3 part along with Green Planet's Massive + Finisher(for flowering). I followed the drain to waste feed chart provided on the GH website but everything I have read tells me this is wrong to do. Still trying to figure out feeding tweaking as well as what I should be using for flower boosters, when to use them and how much haha.

Ideally, I'd like to find a strain to start, which will be both noob-friendly and not too stinky, as well as fairly high yielding, just to help offset some of my setup costs, as I'm looking at starting out with a room that offers the chance to grow well, for some time, without needing all sorts of upgrades right off the bat (some tweaking of course, but trying to plan for the obvious needs going forward before starting).

I'm planning for a hydro setup (possibly a premade bubble bucket system), LEDs (maybe Advanced), 4x8 tent. Still got a LOT of research to do into nutes especially, but everything in reallity, and I'm sure trial and error will play a huge roll for a long time.

Thanks again, and keep it up man. Loved how colourful that plant in the photo looked post-flushing. It's gotta be satisfying to see such a lovely lady developing, although perhaps not quite as much as the end product!
 
NP bud. The Northern Lights is noted as "simple and easy to grow and low odor". Sounds like the perfect strain for us. As OG stated, the f1 hybrids are great as well(research hybrid vigor). I'd guess you should be fine with anything except the pure Blueberry. It says not for beginners. But if you are adventurous I would not discourage you. I had 2 Skunk Berry plants and they both experienced either def, burn or lockout. Possibly BB dominant genetics? No clue. The flowers were great regardless, but the sun leaves looked like shit.

Thanks man. I really love the colorful fall harvest colors as well. I wish I had the space and setup to have mothers/clones/perpetual because I will probably come across something I really really like one of these days. I'm in a 4x8 tent as well. Actually just the lights hanging from the frame right now haha.

7/10 But all of them look pretty strong... I may have screwed up the germination of a couple of these... I was smoking Sugar Punch at the time I was transferring some of the seeds and got totally distracted and... well you know...

Northern Skunk (This individual was completely different than the plant pictured above, both in high and growth. I'm guessing Sweet Skunk dominant. It has a very uplifting energetic high with citrus tones). My favorite of the crop.

I have no frickin clue which plants these were because I forgot to label the photo when I was playing around in mspaint trying to get the full zoom (iNOOB, mspaint lol)

May I ask your germ method?

You know I used to use the paper towel method, it's a great method but one time I broke 2 next gen romulan diesel tails during transfer and ever since then I just go straight into the solo cup(peat).

Also what's up with the runt. Did he just stop growing and putting out new sets? I had 1 out of my 25 Kush NL germs do that.

Yes, my first run of C99 as well. Just pulled 3 mom's aside yesterday.

I germinate by starting with a 36 - 48 hour soak in water in a shot glass, so I can see who has a tail and who doesn't. But I am going to get away from that and go straight to wet Pro-Mix in solo cups pretty much like you.

I seem to get a runt or two out of every set of seeds I pop. They are just part of the genetic profile of the strain I think. Not every Jackson in the Jackson Family is a Michael. Or a Janet for that matter...

Very nice man! You should be happy with those plants! Give yourself some props.

By the way, don't worry about bloom boosters or schedules. Learn to know your plants, and you can only get better. Knowing basic botany and expanding on that will only help you. Kudos

I've got some C99 on the way from peakseedsbc. Very excited to try this legendary strain. Might try a pollen chuck as well. Kind of curious why he doesn't use it in any crosses or have it listed.

in fact you do indeed have a jack herer coming, in fact I transplanted the lil lady yesterday, plus I have the gorilla glue#4, chemdawg 4, double dream, and mango kush, girl scout cookies.. I gotta flower those girls first to make sure they aren't imposters.
Soooo, I need to take a trip to your house.. the LSD, white lotus, and c99 sounds tasty..

Yeah for some reason he doesn't have it listed. Maybe because he didn't originally work the strain? I don't know. It comes from Frost Brothers C99 Stock from Cannazon(which apparently is from the original Brothers Grimm stock). It was mentioned in the TY forum somewhere. :D
