I think what Agracan is saying is... that you can buy the medic version from somewhere else other than an LP.
I think what Jackal is saying is...if you want to buy a medic version from an LP then you have to be a registered patient.
If I'm incorrect sorry.

Moneris jacked our processing fees when we told them we were expanding our offering to MMJ and related accessories. I'm currently negotiating with them to go back to the old rates. When that's done (give it another week), I'll post a link to our website where we'll have the option of a group buy.

dealing with moneris... I do pity you as I did for 6 years.... rip off artists they are, screwed me when I cancelled it too... charged me $300 bones ...then continued to take fees out of business account for a few months. but of course they didn't know how that could have happened and never ever happened before ...blah blah corporate bullshit... like I said they are rip off artists

Yup, monthly account fees no one else has etc. Problem is U.S. backed processors like Chase which have much better rates and terms ain't touching anything mmj related. Yet. So im kind of stuck unless someone has an alternative?

What are the fees in comparison to Stripe?
Stripe is the best I've ever used and I've used them all. Not sure how the rates compare though - should be no fees and just a % of each transaction as usual. Most of the LPs using Shopify will be powered by Stripe payments.

Yes Shopify is what most guys use. We opted for a more feature rich scalable enterprise option. The website is built and ready to go the moment we get the go ahead so switching to Shopify is not really an option at this stage. I have to have a look at the rates and compare them. Stripe is a flat rate service vs. regular processor who has lower rates but has other fees. Anyhow, thanks Stripe is a great suggestion.
