ok my case, my very small grow case ... ok with my my 5 litre container im looking at about maybe a foot of height to work with..very tight i know..at first im doing 1 plant at at a time hey i never tried before so y germ 30 seeds together and fuck all them up? lol..

i have alot of basic questions like... ph?ing my water is this really necassary if using poland spring water?

umm.. i picked out a organic miracle gro potting mix after opening the bag this shit is real chunky like big pieces of hard shit in it anyone familiar with it? i think i might settle with a peat moss mix i seen that looks real nice...

what else? man theres so much im kinda high im sure hit will hit me soon lol

Hey autoflowa
Short answer is that ph is pretty important. Below 5.5 or above 7.5 most nutrients are unavailable to the plant. The bottled water is likely to have it's ph written on the label but that isn't the whole story. I start with ph 7 tapwater and after adding nutes it's down below ph 4.
MG organic doesn't seem to have any added nutes so you will need some. You should be able to get by with fruit/flower nutes as you are using auto's. Buy some perlite or vermiculite and add 30 - 40% to the mg for best results.
My experience with Lowlife isn't great. I bought 5 feminised white russian and got 3 boys and 2 lemon skunks, but the smoke was ok.
Good luck with the grow.

I tried the complaint route but lowlife appears to be quite well named. We live and learn. Hope you get better luck.
For a ph testing kit for water just go to the fish section of a decent pet store.

TBH I've never checked the soil ph. Unless the soil states on the pack that it is for acid or alkaline loving plants you should be fine just taking care of the water.
If you are concerned it may be wrong then you could check the ph of the water after it has passed through the soil and adjust the water ph to compensate for any problem.

autoflowa,

you're heading down the same road i've taken for the most part
my grow is pretty much a micro, i'm using 3 26w cfl's, so that's real micro
i'm using MG organic too, treating me real good for the moment, 3 weeks into 12/12 of a nl#5
the cheapest way to check for ph is strips or drops, both about $5
you ph the water going into the pot, and the flow out
i haven't been able to ph my outflow, water was too muddy, so good luck in your grow!
