hey man checked out your grow.... i want a tent soo bad soon as i get the funds i will be all over that peace man happy growing.

does any one know if spraying tonic water on your plants gives them Co2 or is it just club soda???

Uh i know that 7up or sprite can keep cut roses alive forever, but that due to the sugar, so im not sure spraying soda on a MJ plant will have much effect. lol

well i know that club soda works cause it has Co2 in it i just wasnt sure if tonic water was like the same thing or if there was a big difference in the two???

not sure, they are both carbonated so they both give off c02. im jus tnot sure i would spray a healthy plant with either of the two, maybe leave a sticky mess kinda like spilling a coke ya know. just my thoughts.

get sodium free seltzer. i used to use it as a foliar feed and it worked well. the homemade co2 works better tho, 2L, half full with water, 1 cup of sugar and a packet of yeast.

Just got done with my own PC party cup grow. The pic is the main cola from the Lowlife AK-47 (wet, not dry). First grow, and I am sure she had lots of stress. The blue thing is a mini-stapler. This was about 1/2 the yield for the total plant and she was crammed in there with a Nirvana Short Rider.

Man, I am sure you will do well. It is pretty hard to mess up -- lord knows I tried. Just pay attention.

ok well i am thinking about tossing my party cup into my bureau with my 150W hps hood for my last two weeks of vegging, what do you guys think keep it in the pc or toss her into the bureau???

I have a similar setup in a PC case. I have three 6500 bulbs and one incandescent. The plants just didn't seem to grow right without one incandescent bulb in there. I know that regular light bulbs are bad for growing, but my options are limited. To get to the point would anyone know if it would be better to use a clear light bulb, or a soft white? You know the lesser of two evils.

i would go with soft white man good luck and happy growing

depending on how much bigger the bureau is i would imagine that the plant would stretch more and you would get a bigger yield as well. pc grows are nice to keep plants stealthy / very compact. so i guess it just depends on what you wanna do. pc case = smaller but possibly more potent plant or bureau = taller, bigger yield, and possibly 1 hour+ to figure out and set up the lights/ventilation.


edit: duh! realized you said last 2 weeks of veg lol. i would just let it stay in the pc case

well i already have two plants going in my bureau its already set up... i dont plan on keeping it in the bureau just thot it would grow a little faster in the bureau then toss her back into the pc to finish her off with cfl's????

how many watts of cfl do you have? if its more than 50 actual watts i would keep it in the pc. you can veg with hps but in my experience i get better results with the 6500k (blue) cfls, but overall i get great results mixing the two spectrums.

ok so i tossed the original party cup into the bureau and started two new party cups in the pc. one seed is from some random bag of danks and the other is some kind of kush. i just tossed the seeds into some soil on jan.1 and put them under 24 hour light in the pc.i will veg. them until they are 5-6 inches tall on the 18/6 schedule and switch them to 12/12 for flowering. i plan on topping and LST both for space reasons. i have two cfls at the top of my pc one is a 26w daylight and the other is a 26w soft white. i have one intake fan at the bottom right and one exhaust fan at the top left.today is jan.5 and they have now both sprouted. i have baggies over the top of both cups with a couple of holes poked through for air. i plan on taking the baggies of once the grow a little bit more. i will post some updated pics later in the day. happy growing all.
