Only viruses i've ever had were because of my own fault and i knew at the time i would be risking it. Such as downloading a crack for a game via torrents. Such as downloading torrents content regardless haha.

But yes, you only get viruses if you're the type of moron who shootsthe 5 rabbits to win the free ipad, what, no free ipad, maybe this one will be real! those are the ones that deserve to win so they can co-exist with their ignorance and astounding intellect in peace :D

And no, apple seem to invent little of nothing, instaed they wait for a new tech to become truly viable and then re-name it and call it theirs. tablets have been around for donkeys years, just like video calls, but apple puts out a cocky or emotive adert and all the girls go running to daddy

The video also give a Great history of the two and talks about how a lot was and is shared! steve and bill talk about how microsoft is just a software company and such. If you are a computer guy and haven't seen this you should be ashamed! Or just watch it and pretend you have! (joking, kinda)

I say Steve stole the Ipad idea from Bill! Watch the interview with both of them together! Watch the interview of them together in 1997! They are asked what do you think the future of personal computers will be, Bill's answer If I remember right was "form function tablet" and goes on to describe it! Here is the youtube link, I don't remember if it is on part one or two.

That was 2007 and all I have to say is "NEWTON"!
The iPad is the brainchild of Jobs. Apple has been trying to figure out ow to make ipads for 25 years. Finally technology caught up with the idea.

the ipad certainly is jobs brainchild, like the veyron is one of bugatti's brainchilds. Tablets however were not his idea, any and every tech obsessed folk has concocted dreams of items such as tablets or credit card phones or you name it, i have a very hard time thinking that steve jobs is the only person in the world with an imagination..

I assume you watch top gear? Have you seen the new veyron? some american car beat the first veyron and bugatti got upset and made the new one. A tv show host drove it and broke the record for fastest production car then a bugatti's driver got in and blew the tv show host away!

Then what is the relevance of the statement about it being his brainchild of 35 years? It has nothing to do with the actual conception of a tablet. Just as a Bugatti veyron is the brainchild of Volkswagen, a 1000bhp car, but it does not mean that the car was as a result their idea. Jobs just picked up one what people wanted (or were convinced they wanted) but he is not the brainchild of tablets or anything, just some dude.

I never siad anything about him thinking up the idea of tablet computers. I siad iPad. Big difference. Nogut claimed Jobs stole the idea of the iPad from jobs. I was stating the obvious NO HE DIDN"T he (before Apple booted him) was working on a tablet computers since the 80's. Why does it seems like your talking this personal? LOL

It did make it to market! it was based on the samsung PenMaster that never made it to market!
My point is your claim that tablet computers was Gates is just silly. The producers of the original Star Trek had conceptualized tablet computers in the 60's. CellPhone concept came from the same place.

everything is more difficult to figure out on a PC. I have PC friends that ask me how to do stuff... I tell them sorry dude no clue. Buy a Mac.

I've been using Apple computers since the Apple IIe, when I was in 4th grade. I've never ever owned a PC, I'm a graphic designer and pretty much have to use a Mac for my profession. I'm not going to sit here and bash PCs but they are just years behind as far as fit, finish and ease of use, period, not room for discussion there. They are computers made by geeks, for geeks, with all this unnecessary crap that makes everything seem more confusing and cluttered.

there is only one reason to buy a PC and one reason only.. video games. PCs that are made specifically for gaming, are much better for gaming than Macs, and you get way more for your money.

But dude... let me tell you my set up. I've got a 27" imac as my main computer, with an airport extreme creating my wi-fi network, In my Rec room, Garage, and bedroom, I have airport express's that receive music playing through my Itunes on my main computer. I also have an Ipad with a app called "remote" this allows me to control my Itunes, or my apple TV in my bedroom.

So I can walk around my house, with my music playing throughout my house, controlling the different zones volume individually with my Ipad, I can change to any song, or any radio station streaming over the internet and play it crystal clear in all zones of my house. All controlled by my Ipad. Let me tell you, I feel nothing short of an absolute PIMP walking around my house turning up the volume in the zone I just walked into, turning down the zone I left, all with a touch sensitive Ipad It truly feels like the future has arrived and I'm livin' it man.. It's way cooler than a standard remote control, you see your Itunes from your main computer on your Ipad and flip thorough it with your fingers and select a new song.... And it was all super easy to set up, works great with no complications....

I never would have thought I'd have such an awesome set up in my lifetime, Apple is making the future happen now. PCs... 5 years behind, all they can really do at this point is copy Apple products, and they still aren't as well made and lack the simplicity Mac is becoming known for. Yes Macs are more expensive, but you get what you pay for.

To be honest I really hope all you PC users stay on your PCs... Please bash Mac, stay on your big ugly boxes... Macs won't be nearly as cool if all the PC geeks move to Mac.. so by all means, stick with PC.. they're cool, in a super lame kinda way.

I totally agree. I had close to the same set up once and I will tell you. There is no way to do that with a PC without a crew of nerds and a few guys from MIT. A regular joe could spend a couple hours networking their house with for Vid/Music. My Mac is my entertainment center. I love how everything is plug and play. One thing that makes me laugh is evey single time my friends come over to my house with thier Windows laptops it takes them forever to get on my network wirelessly. I on the other hand can jump on any network within a few clicks, if not none. It never fails

who cares.. there were other mp3 playing devices. Apple takes an idea, refines it and takes it to the next level, then markets the crap out of it capturing majority of the market share... you guys wait.. this is just the beginning. Apple is using the success of the ipod and iphone.. now brought a product everyone thought was going to fail since others had in the past.. the ipad... it will dominate the tablet market, no one else will come close to competing with it. Apple will continue to keep the ball rolling with the success of each product as more and more people think about moving to mac. kinda sucks for us long time die hard apple fans... here come all the posers.. yay. Apple will never take over the market in full size computers, but I think we are all thinking way too small. Steve Jobs is so far ahead... I think he's trying to move us away from what we consider a typical computer. hopefully we'll be getting a fully touch sensitive tablet computer that you can draw on like the wacom tablets. It would be great for us artists. I know others have come out with touch sensitive computer screens but they are upright and clearly not comfortable to use... Apple will do it right... again.

I never siad Newton was the first either. I siad Jobs didn't get the idea from Bill, as you just admitted. Case closed. As for you to try and claim iPad is not apples invention is so silly I will just leave it at that.
