PC growbox,7000 lumens... "bagseed" and were already at day 43 flowering:)

Hey guys,so I built this PC growbox couple months back,already harvested my first girl a month ago,realy stoney buds...
Anyways here is whats going on right now,there at day 43 of flowering...
One is kinda indica with purple stems and one is more sativaish...lol:)
There both looking good and starting to add weight,
Useing 4-26watt cfl's "2700k"...intake and exhaust fans ect...
I like the little setup and seems to work pretty nice,
Take a look and let me know what u think:)

Wow that is wild..Looks like little autoflowers.Nice looking single cola plants! Me personally i would put each one in a seperate cup or sumptin, but like i said good job!

That looks pretty awesome man. Something to take into account though is how much it's costing you to grow those two little plants. Is the cost of soil, nutes, lights etc. worth the amount of yield you get out of something that small? Even with those lights I'd veg a little longer. Great job nonetheless!

They do kinda look like auto flowers,but just bagseed...they flowered pretty ealry though "around day 17" of flowering 12/12....
The origanal plan was to have one plant per container but as the luck turned out I got 2 females in a smaller container then these,and dident want to hurt the roots ect so just repoted into a bigger one...

Well the pc was free so thats was cool...
I bought cfl's...also have bigger 42watt cfl which were in there,these are better though,and more lumens:)
I also bought a couple rolls of foil tape,and fox farm big bloom...and a couple odds and ends from home depot,lol...I spent $100 or less all together probably,
Which isent to bad,last grow I got 4 grams dry without knowing anything about groing...so my goal was 1/2oz for this grow,have no idea but I bet I'll get more then a 1/4 if I let them go long enough:)
All in all its worth it to me,just from the things I learned so far...
And if I can get a 1/4-1/2oz every 2 months then right on,lol...
Next grow I will defently let them veg way longer and lst them fully to fill every inch of the pc with bud,well thats the plan,haha:)

I am not that familiar with micro grows. I have manipulated plants in small containers (16 oz party cup) and gotten over 1/2 oz from the plant. I started training early and topped it once and had four main colas loaded with buds. LST will be your friend in this micro grow.

Hey there Little Tommy,
A 1/2 from party cups sounds awesome!
I was gonna go that route with this grow but decided bigger containers might give me bigger plants/bigger harvest...I topped way to late,so that prolly sent me back,and I only vegged for 10 days,should have gone atleast 20 days...:)

Agreed - mine was for a party cup grow off. I usually veg to 18-24" before flower. That is after topping & lst if I go that route.

Lol..I almost entered the party cup grow off,but I decided not to untill I get everything all working smoothly,plus I just wanted to get started growing to soon,couldent wait actualy,lol...oh well

So Im thinking of putting together another growbox with cfl's...I like these containers that Im using "baby wipes" ect...there not to big and not to small,and u can put 4 of them together in a small little area...If I veg longer "20-30 days" so they can fill up the top half of the box also,then I should be able to get atleast 1/2oz - 1oz per plant "with enough light ect"...so 2-4oz...sounds better then 1/4!:)
Ill probably have to wait till the end of the month for money but defently got some ideas going,lol...

So the plants are looking good,this morning will be day 45 of flowering...
Seems like both little girls are swelling up a bit,wish they would have branched out more/or just got longer,haha...oh well:)
Ill putt up some new pics of the ladys in a day or two...
Should I be running my fans at night?? and if so,then why?
I havent been but if it helps any then I'll keep them on ect,thanks!

Yeah man, having the fans still running is definitely a good thing to do. I grew a few times in a PC case and the air seems to get, I don't know, stale maybe? Heavy feeling and what not if you don't run the fan. I ended up setting up a scrog and had really good results.

Over time, I went bigger to a grow tent and still use my PC case for a mother/clones.

Everything looks great right now man, keep it up!

I wish I saw your set up right when you started it because I also have a PC grow and I'm about as far as you are (time frame). One thing I hear though is that plants can strangle each other @ the roots or something, so be sure to watch out for that. I'm a first time grower so everything I know is just word of mouth. Keep up the good work.

Its weird I dident think about the fans running at night till now,lol...I imagine it will do more good then not:)

Hey thats cool ur doing a pc grow also:)
Ya u dont want to many plants per container cuz the roots would choke the plants probably ect...
I wouldent put more then 2 in thats for sure,I think mine stayed a little shorter keeping both plants in one container,

I actually kept my ventilation/fans off @ night before and that was a mistake. Humidity shoots up and I read that any plants needs fresh air circulation @ all times. But PC fans arent really industrial stuff so :S

*Can't wait til I post some pix xD

And no there not 12/12 from seed...I vegged for 10 days,then put them in flower 12/12...
I was going to go 12/12 from seed but read it takes even longer to get them to flower,because they have to still get old enough/mature enough to flower,which is usealy 15-25 days...

Yes, you are right, so when did your plants start flowering ? I guess around day 17 ?

01/13/11, Update with pics


Ok just got done hanging with the ladys,lol...there gorgeous

Its been a day since I flushed the container,realy good...trying to get out any built up nutes ect...but they look great now,
Green and healthy,Mary'...the indica has some purple in her leaves to go with her purple stems,lol...and Jane'...the sativa is getting thick, both have alot trichs already!
Took some pics,so here goes...
