yes sir. there will be a black and red. black is always ground and redi is always hot. in this case color doesn't really matter. but good to know. don't wanna go electrifying your self one day

Thanks for the help!!I asked some guys at work if they had any old chargers kicking around.I used to have a few,but threw them away.Don't need it until there gone!!Nice set up by the way.How old are your plants,and is that your protection slithering on the floor??Mine is 17 days old(from seed).It's my profile pic.NOt sure what sex it is yet though.I just picked up a 200w sunblaster cfl bulb,and it seems to be working pretty well so far.I have a few pics on here so far,but will post more as it grows.

hahah yea man, thats mr strangles. he loves crawling through to grow box. that tounge goes nuts, must be overwhelmed by the aroma huh?! hah... the two plants showing sex (the two largest plants) are actually th esame age. around 3 months old. for some odd reason the lil guy stands around 4 inches about and the other towering over it at 15 inches. the rest of them are seedlings and about a week old.those cfls really are great. cheap easy to find and grow damn good bud for what they are.. thanks for the props. get some pics up when ya can!

I've been checking out adapters,and was wondering if this sounds right?

I know you said a dc adapter,but it says it powers other 12 volt dc devices.
Just wanted to make sure before i spent the money.

make sure it's got enough amps, or current, to support all of the fans you're gonna use.... if it's 12vdc 500mA and you have 3 fans that pull .2 a piece, you're gonna come up short.....
