Thanks poptcorn, I wasnt sure where to hang the thermo but then I realised its probably better to check the temps at the top and bottom as it may be fine at the bottom but burning the canopy.

Thanks man, I forgot to mention this plant is only under 42w of cfls. Hopefully the next update will show whether I have a male or female.

HAHAHA you FIMmed it on accident. Good job, I've never seen such a beautiful quadtop like that.

I was looking at your picture just after you topped it, and I realized its good it was that stretchy, all those tops AREN'T shaded by dense fan leaves.

But we'll see.
Odds are you get a beautiful plant.
If she's sativa you should LST her, or ScRog.

Yeh when I was talking to a mate on a local forum he said if possible I should try FIM, I wasnt trying to do either since it was my first attempt, but I was glad it turned out good. As soon as I see pre flowers then I will start with LST because there isnt that much height left so I'l tie it down to use as much horizontal space as possible. The OG landrace swazi is pure sativa but this is likely crossed with many unknown parents, also leaves dont look pure sativa to me.

Ok guys and gals, big update
so I've been growing this plant from a very strong batch of chron. Its been growing outdoors on the roof growing extremely slowly, havent given it any love, but I checked today and FEMALE
So I repotted it and now it has been moved into the pc case, the roots were very small because the soil of the pot it was in was very clay like. I've removed the lower 3 branches as they had been eaten by insects and werent looking healthy at all. The bigger plant will still get 12/12 but I'l take it out the case and the lights will stay on so the small plant gets 18/6 so hopefully it can veg properly and it can become a mother.

Ok all
Day 34 and still no signs of sex on the Swazi, done some more lst, removed the big fan leaves (they were stretching into the lights). I picked up a new 20w cfl, so now I have 51 watts, its an extra 500 lumens. The female isnt looking too good I'm hoping its just transplant shock for now.

Day 43, looks like I got the female to reveg since she's starting to grow again and leaves are looking alot healthier. The other plant hasnt shown sex yet, which seems a bit strange....I have a feeling its gonna be male :( Thats alright, since I'l probably be scrapping this grow except for the female, which will be moved to a friends grow. At the end of this month I'l be making an order from Sannies, then I might veg them for 3 weeks in here until I get my HPS. bongsmilie

Are you switching to HPS mid-grow? It can stress the hell out of your plants unless you start it far away and slowly move it closer

Nah I'm probably gonna give this large plant to a friend, and then i'm gonna try get the female to veg properly so I can start cloning her, and once they root then they will be put under the hps to flower. Yeh otherwise the stress might cause it to go hermie. When I get the hps, this pc case is gonna be used to root clones and maybe veg new strains from seed. :D

My first bagseed grow took 13 days to show sex since introduced to flowering period, so give it some more time, it will be fine.

Glad to see she's still beautiful.
Don't scrap it.
You'll regret it, I vote you pick out your favorite plant and focus all your lights on it, and put your others outside or something. Let nature take care of them.

Thanks C. Indica :D yeh I decided I wont be scrapping it, but the other grow just needs to be setup and everything which is hopefully gonna happen this coming week. Then I'll move these plants there and I'm gonna try a mini bubbleponics in the pc case and it will be used for rooting clones.
