Get a phone charger and wire it up to the fans. If you have it wired wrong they just wont come on, so just change the wires and try them again. Chargers are differrent so i cant tell you which wire goes with which.

Just match the ampage of the charer to that of the fan. I use i think a 9v charger and it works just fine. If you plan to use multiple pc fans, then it might just be weiser to buy a cheap as chips computer power supply and run them off that :) Just a matter of shorting a green and blac wire on the 20/24 pin connector with a paperclip :)

Im using 2 pc fans for exhaust. pulled them out of some old pc power supplies. had some old speakers around that had a 12v power adapter. stripped and wired together. electrical taped them and was good to go. Dont know why ppl use 9v or 6v adapters and pc fans are 12v like the rest of your PC. less volts then less speed but will work.

PC fans are designed to work on variable voltages 7-12v, i don't quite recall, but hence the abundance of fan controllers. Not everyone has a set of speakers to rob the 12v power adapter from, whereas most people have surplus phone chargers they have no use for. People largely use pc fans because they are just items lying around unused, else people would just buy real fan for circulation as they are only a few pounds more than a pc fan of deent CFM.

Abxolutely useless for indoor growing. But for negative ventilation for a diy dry box to dry bud in, indispensable.

I use PC fans for my small grow and it works fine, I use a 12V auto batery charger for a power supply. If the wires are black and red, red is positive, if ther's a green wire or blue, don't bother with it
